WWE Raw 9/27: 5 Must-See Moments, Full Results
Less than a week before the WWE Draft, WWE Raw delivered a hot show featuring multiple title matches. Charlotte defended her Women’s Title against Doudrop, much to the chagrin of Eva Marie. Damian Priest went one on one with Sheamus for the US Title in a No DQ Match. In the main event, Big E. battled former champion Bobby Lashley in a steel cage. Here are 5 Must-See Moments from Monday Night Raw.
WWE Raw: 5 Must-See Moments
Big E battles Lashley Twice
It was just over a week ago when Big E. cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on WWE Raw. After Bobby Lashley defeated Randy Orton, Big E. rushed to the ring and became the new WWE Champion. On Monday Night Raw, both men clashed in the opening match of the night but it was quickly ruled a no contest. Not only did The New Day get involved, but Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander returned to reform The Hurt Business. Later in the night, both men met inside a steel cage for a rematch. In the end, Big E. hit the Big Ending off the top rope for the win.
Keith Lee rebranded as Bearcat
Ever since Keith Lee was called up to the main roster from WWE NXT, he’s been on and off TV. On WWE Raw, Lee made his return and was rebranded with a new look and name, the “Bearcat.” In less than a minute, Lee dominated Akira Tozawa and got the win after the Big Bang Catastrophe.
US Title battle
Just 24 hours after the US Title Triple Threat Match at Extreme Rules, Damian Priest defended the gold once again. This time on Monday Night Raw, Priest went one on one with Sheamus in a No DQ, No Countout match. As per usual from both men, the action was hot and heavy from beginning to end with Preist getting the victory after hitting The Reckoning.

AJ and Riddle put on a clinic
Monday Night Raw often gets accused of not putting on the best in-ring action. While that is debatable and subjective, AJ Styles and Riddle made sure to quiet the critics, at least for one night. Riddle and Styles were given time to shine despite the match going less than 15 minutes. In the end, Styles came out on top after a Styles Clash.
Charlotte retains her crown
After defeating Eva Marie on various occasions, Doudrop was given the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Raw Women’s Title. Doudrop came out hot early on and was able to use both her size and agility to get the advantage. Eva Marie came down to the ring and distracted Doudrop allowing Charlotte to hit the Natural Selection for the win. After the match, Charlotte attacked Eva Marie to put her in her place.
