Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum Alli Dore is the latest crew member to become a mama. She just welcomed her son last week. The former stew chose the perfect name for her little yachtie. During the Season 3 reunion, Alli shocked both fans and castmates when she confirmed the news of her pregnancy.

She wasn’t the only one who became a first-time mom after the show. Earlier this year, Dani Soares announced her pregnancy on Instagram. Fans immediately guessed that the father was Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux. At first, he was quiet about the rumors and then he finally admitted that the child was his.

Their baby drama became the main storyline even though it didn’t happen until after the season wrapped up filming. Now, Dani’s best friend and fellow stew is joining the mommy club.

Alli Dore announced her pregnancy before the reunion

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum previously announced on social media that she was expecting her first child. Alli was excited about her new journey. Before the Season 2 reunion aired, both Dani and her boyfriend, Benny Thompson, took to their respective Instagram pages to previously announce they were having their first child together. As fans know, Alli and first mate Gary King were part of a love triangle.

He was not aware that she was pregnant, let alone moved on from their relationship. He probably thought she was still holding feelings for him. Like everyone else, he was shocked to learn the news. Alli’s other castmates were happy for her, including Dani herself. Last month, she revealed that she was expecting her child soon by sharing a photo from her gender reveal. The photo showed a blue cake that read, “It’s a boy.”

Alli was emotional and filled with joy during the reunion. She couldn’t wait to take that next step in her relationship with Benny. The scuba diving expert made it clear that she was down for something serious, but Gary couldn’t give her that. So, she moved on and is the happiest she’s ever been in her life.

On Tuesday, August 31, Alli took to her Instagram to announce that she gave birth to her first son. She chose the perfect name for him: River George Thompson. The former reality star delivered her baby on August 26 at 5:17 a.m. Alli revealed in the post that River was born “a little prematurely,” but has been doing better.

“We are so proud of our strong little man,” she wrote in the caption. “The last couple of weeks we faced challenges I never thought we’d have to. It’s really emotional but also the most special time in our lives because we have River at the end of it all.”

Benny was by Alli’s side throughout the duration. She couldn’t imagine experiencing it without him. He also took to his Instagram page to share how proud he is of Alli. He’s also proud to be the father of their little son.
