In Season 6 of the Bravo series, Malia says she’s single and ready to mingle. However, that doesn’t mean she’s going to mingle with just anyone.

She awkwardly turned down David Pascoe’s advances. The shy deckhand divulged his feelings for the bosun several episodes ago. Unfortunately, she didn’t feel the same way about him. Malia told David that she was still recovering from her split from Chef Tom Checketts. But the real question is, did she have her eye on another crew member?

TV Shows Ace can put those rumors to rest. It’s safe to say that Malia and Jake are an item. The Below Deck Med star is dating the engineer, as noticed by internet sleuths. Stew Courtney Veale joked on Instagram that the new couple “broke the internet” with their sweet snapshot. Malia has been trying to keep their romance a secret. She doesn’t want to be known for her dating history, but she can’t help but resist men in the yachting industry.

On Sunday, August 29, Jake Baker shared a photo of himself kissing Malia at a crowded pool. She wore a black bikini, while he wore matching swim trunks. Courtney took to the comments section to write, “You guys just broke the internet.” She also followed up with a series of fire emojis and then writing “O M G,” in three separate comments. Chief stew Katie Flood comments, “Tonnnaaaaays” along with the fire emoji.

Malia did not comment on Jake’s photo. Instead, she simply liked it, showing her approval. The couple is now Instagram official. However, Malia has yet to share a photo with Jake on her Instagram account. Previously, he shared photos of Malia on her birthday. The two also went on a double date with Captain Sandy Yawn and her girlfriend Leah Shafer.

Is Malia White keeping her relationship a secret?

The real reason why Malia White hasn’t hooked up with anyone else this season is that she had her eyes set on Jake. Jake works behind the scenes with the Lady Michelle crew on Below Deck Med Season 6. Viewers briefly met Jake when Sandy introduced him along with first mate Marten Van Suylekom. They noticed how good-looking Jake is compared to the men in front of the camera.

Malia hasn’t said anything about Jake. She just claimed that she was single throughout the season. But it’s likely that the two made a connection while working together on the superyacht. She would rather keep her boatmance to herself this time around.
