About the My True Crime Story series
Each episode features regular people with “good intentions” who “commit scandalous criminal activities” and make it through the legal system to find redemption.

Told by the people who lived through these life-changing misadventures, thrilling stories include cases of international smuggling, million-dollar jewelry heists, bank robbery, and drug trafficking. When it all comes crashing down, was it worth it?
About Remy Ma
Remy has walked the talk.
In 2007, the ex-Terror Squad MC—Remy’s real name is Reminisce Smith—was sought for questioning in the shooting of a 23-year-old woman after an argument near a bar in Lower Manhattan.
MTV (via the Associated Press) reported that Remy “reported to the police and was also arrested on charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.”
The history of Remy Ma is as juicy and real as any of the great hip-hop legends. Over the course of nearly two decades, Remy has left a mark on rap music across the globe while setting a style and impact that has influenced up and comers in the genre of music.
