Counting On alum Derick Dillard is back on Twitter spilling more tea on the Duggar family. He took a brief hiatus while celebrating his law school graduation. But he returned to the social media platform with a post implying that he was the whistle-blower that helped take down Josh Duggar. What did Derick say?

ICYMI: Josh Duggar Arrested Last Month

At the end of April, former TLC star Josh Duggar was under arrest by federal agents. He is facing serious charges involving possessing explicit images of children. He is out on bond until his trial starts in July. Per the conditions of his release, he is not allowed to be around minor children. Except his own.

As Duggar fans know, Josh Duggar has six children, and another on the way, with his wife, Anna Duggar. For some reason, the judge in his bond hearing agreed to let Josh Duggar see his kids, provided that his wife is there to supervise.

In the aftermath of his arrest, Duggar son-in-law, Derick Dillard, has been speaking out about the family. He is married to Jill Duggar, one of the siblings molested by Josh Duggar years ago. (While Josh Duggar denies the charges he is currently facing, he admitted in the past to molesting four of his sisters.)

Derick Dillard Implies He Was Family ‘Whistle-Blower’

According to Derick Dillard, TLC “deceived” fans when they rebranded 19 Kids & Counting as Counting On. 19 Kids was canceled after Josh Duggar admitted to molesting his sisters. But some of the Duggar family returned to the network a few months later in Counting On.

Earlier this week, Derick Dillard took to his Twitter account to share a bible verse about hypocrites and false prophets. “‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me…,’” he quoted. It’s unclear who exactly he was calling hypocrites.

His followers responded by praising Derick for being a “good man” and offering to “pray for” him and Jill. Derick Dillard seemed to appreciate the compliments.

He wrote back thanking his followers and continued calling out hypocrites. He wrote that life is “90%” choosing how to respond to situations. In his opinion, the “right response” is to be a “whistle-blower” to protect other people.

Is he implying that he was somehow involved in the feds investigating his brother-in-law, Josh Duggar?

Or is he talking about blowing the whistle on Jim Bob Duggar and TLC’s deception?

Has TLC Responded To Fans Demanding They Cancel Counting On

After Josh Duggar’s shocking arrest, TLC viewers have been vocal about the future of the Duggar family. A petition to cancel Counting On has almost 30K signatures. Additionally, it seems Apple TV and Amazon Prime have removed 19 Kids & Counting from their respective streaming platforms.

So far, TLC has not responded to the petition, other than their original statement after Josh Duggar’s arrest.

Do you think Derick Dillard is the whistle-blower? Should TLC cancel Counting On or keep it on the air? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
