Candace Cameron Bure is there for her friend no matter what. Over four months ago, Lori Loughlin finished her prison sentence for her involvement in the college admissions scandal that took the nation by storm. The When Calls the Heart star has been laying low since leaving jail. Candace recently shared an update on whether she still talks to the Fuller House star.

The two worked together on the ’80s ABC sitcom Full House. The cast remained close, even years after the network pulled the plug. They reunited for the Netflix revival Fuller House, which ended last year. However, Lori wasn’t in the final season due to her private scandal.

In a new interview with Daily Blast Live, Candace Cameron Bure revealed if she has spoken to Lori Loughlin since her December 2020 release. In the Tuesday, May 11 episode, she simply responded, “Yes, I’ve talked to Lori many times and she’s doing well.” Despite her legal problems, Lori continues to receive support from her Fuller House co-stars.

Candace revealed that they share a close bond in 2019. The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries star would never go behind Lori’s back and talk about her personal drama to the media. Candace reiterated that they have a deep friendship that goes way beyond the sitcom. She also made it clear that she stands by her friend during this time.

“You know, it’s too personal to us, and you never want to talk about someone that’s such a dear and close friend,” she told hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford on Today. “But I think, I’ve already said that we are family, and we stand by each other and pray for each other, and we’ll always be there for each other.”

Fuller House star shares steamy bedroom advice

TV Shows Ace reported on Candace Cameron Bure and Val Bure’s marriage. She said that they faced struggles during the coronavirus pandemic. However, she feels that it has made them stronger and better. Also, their three adult kids moved back home, which changed the dynamics of their family. Now, Candace shared what makes their marriage work.

“It’s so easy to take each other for granted,” the QVC fashion designer explained. “You know each other so well that you forget so you have to keep it spicy and I love that. That’s what my husband and I do and that’s one of the reasons why I think we will be celebrating 25 years of marriage this year.”

Candace also offered some of her tips for a long and happy marriage. She giggled and said that sharing some of her sexy tips would embarrass her kids. So, she tried to keep her bedroom advice clean. “Just do something unexpected,” Candace answered. “Maybe lay in a way you don’t normally lay or portion yourself.”
