These days, Mama June: From Not to Hot fans see a rather happy Alana Thompson on Instagram. And, we couldn’t be happier she stays connected to fans. We know Alana still lives with her sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon and her sister’s husband Josh Efird. We also know Honey Boo Boo has grown close to their daughter Ella Grace Efird. Alana and Ella have spent so much time together they likely feel more like sisters at this point. Likewise, fans were just happy Pumpkin was able to take in her sister after their mother Mama June failed her.

Now, it sounds like Honey Boo Boo has hit a new milestone in her life. According to Soap Dirt‘s report, Alana Thompson is officially dating. And, she confirmed she has a boyfriend.
Now, at 15-years-old, Honey Boo Boo is certainly old enough for dating. Likewise, we assume Pumpkin will do her part to keep her eye on the alleged boyfriend. Unfortunately, we know next to nothing about Alana’s special someone. She didn’t share a photo of her boyfriend. Nor did she share his name.
Is there any truth to this rumor?
Digging through Alana Thompson’s Instagram… We cannot find a scrap of evidence to support she has a boyfriend. That being said, it is very possible this is news she broke on an Instagram Story. And, Instagram Stories do expire. Unfortunately, Soap Dirt did not take a screenshot indicating where this information came from. So, for now, it is best to take this news as a grain of salt. A rumor.

Naturally, fans are thrilled Alana is enjoying life. Many admit she’s the only reason they still watch the Mama June series. If Alana does have a boyfriend… It is only a matter of time before we learn more about him. Until then, we have to assume Honey Boo Boo dating is just a rumor.
