This winter-themed movie star two fan favorites, Jen Lilley (USS Christmas, Days of Our Lives) and Chris McNally (When Calls The Heart), This is a winter-themed, feel-good movie that focuses on straying beyond your comfort zone. What Is Hallmark’s Snowkissed About?
What do we know about Snowkissed? According to the Hallmark press release, writer Kate (Lilley) needs to head out of town in order to interview the author of the popular book, The Answer. Although the native New Yorker, who barely leaves the streets of Manhattan, not even for Brooklyn, needs to go to Canada for this assignment. That is ok with Kate, as this is her favorite self-help book, and it sounds like she would go to the ends of the earth to meet and interview this author.
Soon, Kate arrives to Lake Louise, where she meets Noah (McNally). Noah is the owner of the B&B she is staying at. But, from the time they meet, the two are instantly at odds. Why? It is because they have drastically different views on The Answer.
Noah does not embrace the philosophy of The Answer’s “theory of happiness.” This is what is at the core of Kate’s “safe” lifestyle. That lifestyle that doesn’t allow her to venture outside of NYC. She is determined to stand by the author and support this philosophy.
But, the author is seriously stalling. Kate is still waiting to interview them. Instead, Kate is now stuck helping Noah out with creating a guide for tours. This is his next step. A polished guide is an essential tool to present to his investors.
As Noah takes Kate on practice tours, and Kate teaches him lessons on creating the guide, the two begin to form a bond. This process requires a lot of growth and has been a challenge to. Noah. But, Kate, who is well-equipped with these tools, is there to guide him. That includes teaching him public speaking.
However, Kate is really experiencing the real growth. She is learning to break out of her comfort zone and embrace adventure. Moreover, she is finding it so appealing as she is doing it with someone she is very, very attracted to.
Now Kate is at a crossroads. Does she venture beyond her Manhattan home and allow herself a life of adventure and love?
