Becca Kufrin Thanks 2020 For Heartbreak
In 2020 Bachelor Nation couple, Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen broke up. Now, Becca is talking about what that heartbreak felt like on Instagram.

Becca made a post on her Instagram all about her 2020 Yahoo! says. This includes the good stuff and the bad. One of those things, of course, was breaking off her engagement with Garret Yrigoyen. She says that the year 2020 really challenged her and pushed her however she didn’t break. Honestly, that’s so awesome for her.
“2020. Man, you gave me a run for my money,” she starts on her Instagram post. “You have challenged me in ways I never thought possible. You changed the trajectory of my life, you took several people I loved away, & you pushed me to the point where I almost broke. But I didn’t. And after all the hell that’s taken place within 365 days, all I have to say is thank you.”
Then, she continues to talk about Garrett and their split. She thanked the year for breaking her heart and allowing her to put it back together, something everyone who goes through a breakup experiences.
“Thank you for breaking my heart & allowing me to put the pieces back together in the most weird, but customized way,” she writes. “… You rocked me, but ya couldn’t fully knock me.”
When did they split?
The pair broke up earlier this year after they shared some differences in opinion on the Black Lives Matter Movement although Becca says this isn’t the only reason.
“I don’t think it’s gonna come as a shock to anyone, but Garrett and I have decided to end our engagement,” she reveals in September about her relationship.
“If you have followed us on Instagram for the past couple of months, you’ll have noticed that I spent a lot of time in Minnesota. I was with family and close friends and he was out on the West Coast doing the same and we were really just trying to take time and gain some clarity as to what was the next best step in our lives, whether that was together or as individuals.”
Ultimately, they ended up splitting. However, it seems to be the right decision for both of them as they both seem pretty happy.
