Amelia Fatsi took a big risk when she married Bennett Kirschner on Married at First Sight. And even though she married a stranger, the Lifetime pair hit it off almost immediately. They had chemistry right out of the gate. And they were an early fan-favorite duo in New Orleans.
Meanwhile, Married at First Sight alum Amelia Fatsi took a completely different kind of plunge recently to celebrate the holidays. As part of the Fatsi family tradition, Amelia and Bennett jumped into some freezing water in Richmond, Virginia. And they weren’t alone in taking part in this, either.
Fatsi Family Tradition
It’s unclear how jumping into freezing water in the middle of winter became a tradition for Married at First Sight‘s Amelia Fatsi and her family. But Bennett Kirschner was a good sport when it came to taking part in the freezing festivities. Bennet Kirschner jumped in, wearing only his underwear. And some Married at First Sight watchers joked that he could use his nightgown to warm up.
Married at First Sight star Amelia Fatsi has a very quirky personality. And that’s one of the reasons why she and Bennett Kirschner matched so well on the Lifetime show. Meanwhile, the Married at First Sight pair still keeps things fun and interesting – even if that means jumping into icy water for a good time.
Married at First Sight: Bennett Kirschner & Amelia Celebrate the Holidays
For all the Married at First Sight couples that stayed together following the New Orleans season, they get to experience the holidays as married pairs for the first time. Even though Bennett Kirschner and Amelia Fatsi spend time apart while she finishes her residency in Virginia, they make time to see one another this holiday season.
They spent time together over the Thanksgiving holiday as well. So even though they spend time apart, they certainly make up for it when they can. And from the looks of it, their marriage seems as strong as ever. Initially, there was some concern that spending time apart in different states could be bad for the Married at First Sight union. But both Amelia Fatsi and Bennett Kirschner prove they can make it work.
Along with Woody and Amani Randall, Bennett and Amelia had the most chemistry on the New Orleans season. The experts don’t always get it right. But when they do, they often hit it out of the park. Bennett and Amelia are still going strong long after Lifetime cameras left them alone to do their own thing – which includes jumping into freezing water for fun.
