Erika Jayne is not happy with how her divorce is making headlines. On Tuesday, November 3, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star announced her split from Thomas Girardi. At the time, she asked for privacy, but she had no idea that it would play out in the media. New reports claim that their divorce is a “sham.”

The couple allegedly embezzled money from plane crash victims. They used the money to fund their lavish lifestyles, sources say. Erika is upset by the reports. She hopes that it won’t become an upcoming 11th season storyline.

RHOBH star feels “humiliated”

According to a new report in Life & Style’s December 12 issue, Erika Jayne is not happy with the reports about her divorce. An insider told the tabloid that she denies the claims against her and Thomas Girardi. She hopes that it won’t become a Season 11 storyline.

“Erika’s embarrassed and humiliated by the reports,” the source told the magazine, as per Reality Blurb. “She’s denying it, of course, but the damage is done. She and Tom look like total crooks!”

“Erika’s embroiled in a scandal that she’s hoping won’t become her [RHOBH] storyline,” the source added.

Erika is returning to the Bravo series, alongside Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, and Lisa Rinna. Last month, Edelson PC filed a lawsuit obtained by the magazine. It claimed that Erika and Thomas are “facing increasing pressure to actually pay down their debts.” The court documents claimed that their divorce is a “sham attempt to fraudulently protect [their] money from those that seek to collect.”

The company filed the lawsuit a year after Erika revealed her $40,000 per month glam budget. Collectors believe the report is proof of her “never-ending” spending. Thomas also “maintains a significant monthly tab” and loves to use his private jets.

Erika Jayne can’t catch a break

Erika Jayne’s estranged husband is hit with another lawsuit amid their divorce. Wells Fargo Vendor Financial Services is suing him for $800,000 for refusing to pay the monthly payments on his rented office equipment. Both Thomas Girardi and his law firm, Girardi Keese, are being sued for allegedly breaching a contract and conversation with the bank, according to the documents obtained by Page Six.

The lawsuit claims that Thomas had five different lease agreements with the bank. Wells Fargo agreed to help finance the lease of his office equipment. But Thomas and his law firm failed to meet their monthly payments. Erika is also seeking money from her ex-husband. Her divorce filing in November revealed she requested Thomas to pay spousal support as well as her attorney’s fees.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 will air on Bravo sometime in early 2021. It should be an interesting season. What are your thoughts on Erika’s divorce? Do you think it should become her storyline? Share your thoughts below.
