Chris Harrison still cares about Juan Pablo Galavis no matter what. The former Bachelor infamously dumped Clare Crawley. Earlier this month, he reacted to a teaser for her season of The Bachelorette on Twitter. The video featured Clare’s choice words for him during their breakup six years ago.

Juan gave his final rose to Nikki Ferrell. As for Clare, she’s moved on from their split. And she embarked on her journey of The Bachelorette, which she filmed back in July. But that led to a premature love connection outside of the show. Nonetheless, Juan threw shade at Clare and her journey for love.

Chris Harrison considers Juan Pablo Galavis “family”

Earlier this month, the professional soccer tweeted his reaction to the new season of The Bachelorette. He called the promo “interesting” and claimed that Clare isn’t over him.

“Interesting PROMO of @Clare_Crawley and the season of @BacheloretteABC, 6 years LATER and I know WHO is the Juan that can’t get OVER Juan,” he tweeted. “Would LOVE if you take a GUESS? PS: Clare got over LONG time ago, just in CASE…”

Chris Harrison shared his thoughts on Juan Pablo’s tweets. He admitted that the controversial lead is still “family” despite what he said on Twitter. On Tuesday, September 29, Chris told People that he “didn’t know we were, or weren’t, over him.”

“Juan Pablo is a part of our family whether you like it or not,” Chris said before adding, “look, there’s always that, that kooky uncle, that crazy aunt, that’s a part of your family. That’s our Juan Pablo, so, love him or not, he’s family.”

Chris went on to say that the former Bachelor is “always welcome back” and that he would “love to sit down and talk to Juan Pablo.” Maybe they can go over Juan Pablo’s Greatest Hits together?

Clare Crawley speaks out

The 39-year-old told People that she doesn’t have any bad blood with Juan Pablo. She is grateful to have shared that experience with him. It taught Clare how to stand up for herself. She came out much stronger in the end.

“I felt so thankful for my evolution of what happened on my path on The Bachelor,” Clare told People back in March. “When my season ended, it was the biggest blessing in my life. I stood up for myself in a way that I had never done in any relationship before, or even in life.”

Clare remarked she felt a “strength with myself” that was “life-changing.” It was a “huge” moment in her life. However, Clare won’t be the one handing out roses during this season. Tayshia Adams is rumored to replace her on the show after she falls in love with one of her suitors and leaves the show early.

But ABC hasn’t mentioned Tayshia in any of the promotions. So far, they’ve only made Clare front and center. In addition, Tayshia has not spoken out about the news.

Even Chris Harrison is keeping quiet about the rumors. He only stated that “this is Clare’s season 100%.” He claims that the new season will still tell “her story.” As for anything else that could happen? Chris says, “you’ll have to wait and see!”

The Bachelorette premieres Tuesday, October 13 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
