Tom Bergeron hasn’t let not returning as the host of Dancing with the Stars dampen his humor. He was clearly having a good time when he decided to poke fun at a strange theory about another reality show.
The Masked Singer has been airing and people are putting in their votes for who they think the different anonymous singers could be. According to Pop Culture, Bergeron himself was on the third season of the popular show. On the political side of things, some people have a different theory about the show.
Former congressional candidate DeAnna Lorraine tweeted something that tied the masked singer in with the corona virus in such a strange way, Tom felt compelled to comment. Bergeron is not afraid to post about political issues and has been encouraging everyone to vote.
What did Tom Bergeron Say About DeAnna’s Post?
Tom Bergeron couldn’t help himself when it came to DeAnna Lorraine’s post. She said, “I find it very interesting how the show “Masked Singer” hit America in January 2019, a little bit over a year before they started forcing us all into masks.” She went on to say it seemed they were conditioning the public that they were normal.
Tom posted it and said, “I’m developing a nut allergy.” He also posted it on Instagram with the comment, “Verified! Finally! The global conspiracy that is @maskedsingerfox… unmasked!” Some people thought DeAnna was likely joking.
One fan agreed with him. They said, “It’s funny, but I’m definitely laughing AT her. Not with.” One fan had their own theory of why the show was released. They said, “didn’t everyone know it was started by the beauty industry due to a global wax shortage?” Another fan said, “You’re a part of the problem!” They were clearly joking and followed with, “miss you on dancing with the stars!”

The TV Host Also Doesn’t Mind Poking Fun At Himself
Tom Bergeron also posted the video below promoting cameos he will do to raise money to help those affected by COVID. He said a lot of fans have been saying he’s wearing the same t-shirt in every one of them. Tom said, “That’s just not true,” and proceeded to show t-shirts for every occasion from, “sick of COVID,” to “job promotions.” They are all the same gray t-shirt. He captioned the video, “A brief sartorial explanation,” letting people know he’s in on the joke.

Fans loved it and talked about how much they miss him on Dancing with the Stars. Bergeron has been very active on social media since announcing he wouldn’t be returning to DWTS. He recently posted a smash session with his trainer where he destroyed things with a bat. One said, “You are hilarious! Thank you for the humor and positivity!” Fans are happy they can at least get their Tom fix from his social media.
