‘The Masked Singer’ Fans Guess Who’s Behind The Snow Owls Facade
The Masked Singer on Fox really appeals to fans who play guessing games about who hides behind those masks. This year, there’s a crocodile and other funny faces. But this week, in the premiere, fans saw the Snow Owls. Of course, plenty of guesses come out about who hides under there. And, many people think it’s a married couple.
The Masked Singer Premiere brings the Snow Owls
During the premier, five acts came in and they all seemed very entertaining with a lot of talent. But, one of those acts included a duo, which makes for six people performing. Competing in Group A, Good Housekeeping suggested “Nick and Vanessa Lachey.” Then, they tossed in the idea of “Carlos and Alexa PenaVega who both have successful singing careers. It looks like the duo might be married in real life from a teaser that called the performers “Mr. and Mrs. Owl.”
Meanwhile, Heavy.com noted that when the Snow Owls performed Say Something by Great Big World, “the package voice over said that the boy owl was a “real wiseguy” who would do “anything for a laugh.” Plus, clues pointed to something of a reunion. And, the vid package focused on a rose on one of the owls’ lapels.” Then, after they finished their number, The Masked Singer boy owl said, “I knew [this] would happen for me one day because I love wings. Buffalo… barbecue… spicy…”
Could the Snow Owls be Country singer Clint Black and his wife, Lisa?
Heavy thinks the duo might be Clint and Lisa because they simply sound like them. But, the outlet points out it might also be Clint and his daughter Lily Pearl. Over on Twitter, plenty of fans voiced their thoughts on the identity of the Snow Owls. One person thinks Clint. the wrong choice. They noted, “Seriously, I don’t know how any country fan can think the snow owls are Vince Gill/Amy Grant or Clint Black/Lisa Hartman Black over Garth and Trisha.”
They added,” There is no way that the snow owls aren’t Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. I didn’t see the clue package and I knew immediately. The judges have to know and are just keeping it to themselves. And lots of fans decied The Mask Singer duo’s “Derek & Julianne Hough! Brother & Sister!!!” And then someone made a wild guess about “Chrissy Teigen and John Legend!”
