Sponsors Continue Dropping Nicole Franzel Amid Bullying Controversy

Big Brother fans are starting to wonder if Nicole Franzel will have any sponsors or partnerships left when she exits the house.

Olay was one of the first big names to cut ties with Nicole Franzel.

Nicole Franzel was present on multiple occasions when Memphis Garrett felt the need to trash talk Ian Terry. Turns out, Ian being autistic makes some of his houseguests uncomfortable. Nicole included. Now, Nicole Franzel didn’t directly get in on much of the conversation. (Beyond agreeing with Dani that Ian made her uncomfortable). But, Nicole was very involved in laughing hysterically as Memphis cruelly mocked Ian because of his autism. While many Big Brother fans insist Memphis deserves the blunt of the blame because of what he said… Nicole Franzel is the one that had tons of sponsors and partnerships when she went into the house.

As we previously reported, Olay was one of the first big names to give a statement on social media. The brand confirmed they would not be working with Nicole Franzel anymore. They were not interested in working with someone who thought laughing and mocking someone with a disability was appropriate behavior. Olay made it clear they have a no tolerance policy for bullying. And, several members of the autism community admitted the statement made them want to rush out and buy Olay products as a result.

Many other sponsors are cutting ties with the social media influencer.

Big Brother fans are vicious when someone in the house does something to make them angry. Unfortunately for Nicole Franzel, fans did not waste time reaching out to every company that had ever partnered with her. This was true whether they were actively working with her or if they had only worked with her once in the past.

Frustrated fans are taking a great deal of pleasure in the fact that her sponsors are dropping her like hot cakes after what happened in the house.

What sponsors have dropped Nicole or promised not to work with her again?

  • Olay
  • Pantene
  • Winery Chateau Ste. Michelle
  • FabFitFun
  • EyeBuyDirect
  • 310Nutrition
  • LoveBook
  • Princess Polly Boutique
  • Betabrand
  • Smartsweets

Now, it is important to keep in mind that not all of these companies had active partnerships with her. These companies, however, have responded to concerned customers about them having a relationship with Nicole. Each of these companies either confirmed they haven’t worked with her in a long time and do not intend to work with her anymore. Or, they confirmed they would immediately be cutting ties with her.

How do these sponsors relationships work, anyway?

Typically, these companies give Nicole Franzel a free product. And, then they pay her to post a photo or video of herself utilizing the product. So, she typically gets paid to promote it and gets a free product. Companies do this as a form of marketing with individuals who have large followings on social media.

Often times, a sponsor partnership is a one and done situation. But, it did appear as if Nicole had a few companies that worked with her on multiple occasions.

So, what do you think about Nicole Franzel losing several of her sponsor relationships? Sound off in the comments. And, stick with us for the latest Big Brother related news.
