‘OutDaughtered’: Quint Hazel Busby Goes For Another Eye Checkup
OutDaughtered fans saw in the last season of the TLC show that quint Hazel might need more eye surgery. Adam and Danielle grew concerned about Hazel’s vision again. Now, Danielle reported that she just went for another eye checkup that got put off because of the coronavirus.
OutDaughtered – The Busby family feared more eye surgery for Hazel
Recall, the Busbys booked a visit to her eye specialist. But, because of the coronavirus, the appointment got canceled. So, they consulted via telemedicine. Now, Danielle reported that Hazel went back to the eye doctor this week. Fans of the TLC show adore Hazel, so thousands of them showed interest in the post that Danielle shared about it.
At this time, fans can only assume that OutDaughtered quint never went for eye surgery yet. After all, Hazel featured daily in the social media posts her parents share. And, it’s not likely hospitals take non-essential non-urgent surgery cases because of the virus. Danielle shared her update with a cute photo of Hazel enjoying a treat after her eye checkup.

It seems that Hazel takes after her dad. He comes from Louisiana. Danielle showed a photo of Hazel eating her Gumbo. The happy girl with a sparkle in her eyes certainly enjoys it. Danielle wrote, “Hazel Basil definitely has some Louisiana In her blood! Girl loves her some gumbo! Hazel had her eye checkup today and requested gumbo for dinner! So Gumbo it is!! 😁 And all went well at the checkup.”
That sounds like very good news for the Busbys. In case you don’t know, Hazel suffers from a condition that causes the rolling of the eyes. The American Optometric Association explains it. “Rarely, surgery is performed to change the position of the muscles that move the eyes. And, poor Hazel from OutDaughtered gets nervous about it as she already underwent surgery at a very young age.
Fans react to the news about Hazel’s eye checkup
On Instagram, fans of the TLC show reacted to the news about Hazel. One follower said, “So glad it went well!! Hope she never has to get a surgery again!” Another comment read, “She’s so precious! Thankful for a good checkup.” And, an adoring fan noted, “So glad to hear everything went great. Been worried about her precious little eyes. 💗.”
Other OutDaughtered fans hoped that this means that no more surgery looms for the cute little girl. A fan commented, “So Hazel DOESN’T need [an] operation..” It seems like that for now, but perhaps Danielle details things a bit more in a future post. Or, fans may see more about it in the next season of the show.
