‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 10 Trailer Promises Drama But Fans Think It’s Just More Of The Same Old

Teen Mom 2 season 10

Teen Mom 2 returns to MTV with Season 10 on September 1 at 8 p.m. ET. From the trailer, it looks promising and features life amid COVID-19, an STD, and more. The trailer for the show reveals some drama ahead as Brianna DeJesus reports an STD. Then there’s some substance abuse thrown in, a pregnancy, and more. But will fans enjoy it?

Teen Mom 2 Season 10 – pregnancy, STD, mega-drama

While the show promises a lot of Kailyn Lowry as she carried her 4th child, she outdid that when she slurped a delicious looking smoothie after the birth. Actually, we noted that it came from her own body and she lapped up her own placenta. Now that you know that, possibly the rest of her journey in Season 10 pales in comparison. Nevertheless, fans see the preceding events. In the trailer, Kailyn wails tearfully, saying, “I am 14 weeks, and I’m due in July. I just need to put my big girl pants on.”

But the Teen Mom 2 show’s not all about Kailyn. In fact, Briana DeJesus stole it with her STD bombshell. US Weekly reported that Briana DeJesus called up a friend “on FaceTime” and talked about getting down to it with Stella’s dad, Luis Hernandez. Well, the unwanted outcome of that involved an STD. In her confessional, she declared he gave it to her.

Leah Messer confesses to her substance abuse addiction

Further on in the clip, Leah Messer said, “I’ve never said this before, I was addicted to pain medication.” Okay, well maybe that’s not as dramatic as it sounds as she definitely said it before. Back in 2018, she talked about it on the Life Reboot Podcast. Plus, her book came out in May this year and revealed it all over again. So, fans get to hear about it for the third time. Presumably, some sort of storyline had to feature for Leah.

Meanwhile, Chelsea Houska might need more court time concerning her daughter Aubree. Nothing new there, folks, except fans see her undergoing that dreaded nasal swab test for COVID-19. Plus, Jade Cline promises even more drama screaming about not filming. Melting down, she yells “get out!” However, it might not be good enough to keep the fans coming back, especially without the Jenelle Evans and David Eason drama.

Fans react to the trailer for Teen Mom 2

Fans noted that none of these moms can even vaguely claim the term “teen” anymore. If the show survives another 10 seasons without new blood, fans could end up watching Teen Mom 2 grandmas. One fan commented on Twitter, “i’m sorry but can we get rid of chelsea dude she’s been sayin the same sh-t for literally years same shit same storyline.” Another one lamented the loss of Jenelle and Farrah Abraham.

Someone else pointed to the fact that so many people already know these storylines from before. One fan commented, “That actually looks exactly like what we’ve seen before but ok.” Another Teen Mom 2 follower noted, “Same old Same Old Same Old … I never said this before — Leah. really?? 2018 on her podcast…snore…”
