The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star sat down for an exclusive interview with The Washington Post. In the candid interview, Denise Richards shut down the affair allegations once again. She then admitted that her “openness” on the show has backfired on her. And now, she’s revealing whether she would allow her kids to watch her on RHOBH.
“It’s an adult show,” Denise firmly told The Washington Post. She denied that her kids watch the show with her. The actress also shared her thoughts on some of the NSFW comments she made on past episodes of RHOBH.

“My openness definitely bit me in the a** a bit,” Denise admitted. “It’s a learning process. I went into the show just being myself, and I never wanted to try and play a part. I am who I am. People can believe what they want, but Wild Things was not a documentary.”
Denise and her ex-husband Charlie Sheen’s daughters, Sam and Lola, are 16 and 15 respectively. She’s also the mom to her 9-year-old Eloise, who she adopted on her own. Denise’s current husband, Aaron Phypers, is trying to adopt her daughter.

Denise Richards shared more insights into her family. She shared the details of her current husband and ex-husband’s relationship. She revealed to The Washington Post that both men “have a wonderful relationship.” Since Charlie lives five minutes away in Malibu, they have been able to successfully co-parent their teenage daughters.
Denise and Charlie divorced in 2006 after a few years of marriage. Then she married Aaron in September 2018. Their wedding was featured on Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. When it comes to Charlie’s relationship with their kids, it’s better than expected. And she wouldn’t want to do anything to jeopardize it.

“For years, it’s been different ups and downs. But I’ve always tried to maintain protecting the kids from seeing any of that or being privy to any discord,” Denise explained. “I never wanted to tarnish the relationship with my girls with their dad. That’s their relationship. So, I’m so happy that things are in a great place.”
