Brielle Biermann caused controversy with her latest beach photo. The 22-year-old reality star made headlines when she posted a photo of herself on the beach tanning. Fans accused her of “blackfishing.” Blackfishing is a term used for someone who alters their appearance to appear black.
Brielle stirred up controversy when she posted a photo of herself lying on the beach. Her body looked much darker than usual. She made it seem like she got that tan by sitting in the sun. Not only is it not true, but it’s also not wise. Most fans think Brielle uses too much tanner.

Brielle Biermann accused of “blackfishing” her skin
As per The Blast, Brielle Biermann posted a controversial photo of herself on Instagram. In the photo, Brielle laying on her stomach on a blue and white polka dot towel. Her skin appeared as dark as her chocolate brown bikini. It even matched her new brunette locks.
In the caption, Brielle wrote, “Wearing @saltykswim boardwalk bikini in taupe! Only a few left!” She even included a brown heart-shaped emoji at the end of her message.
When she posted the picture, she didn’t realize how much controversy it would cause. Brielle’s Instagram post received more comments on her skin than the bikini she was wearing. Fans were not happy with Brielle’s latest photo and called her out.

“lol brielle biermann tried it,” one fan wrote. “she really tried it but the comments got so flooded so fast. like girl just embrace being white. I hate being the color of milk too but you don’t see me black fishing.”
“Bruh it’s not a tan if you’re another race,” another fan argued. “I’m tired of white people black fishing.”
Most fans were disgusted with her latest beach photo. Brielle since removed the photo from her Instagram feed. However, Brielle didn’t like the backlash she received. She returned to Instagram to defend the controversial photo.

Brielle Biermann didn’t appreciate the backlash. As per AceShowBiz, she still defends the photo. It all started when one follower wrote, “You know she posted this to show how dark she was lol.”
The Bravo personality fired back, “I actually was only going to keep it up until we sold out of our bikini 😊 never did anything wrong. I can’t help how tan I get from laying out sun up to sun down at the beach everyday!”
But fans aren’t buying it. Brielle doesn’t appear as dark in her other beach photos. One fan wrote, “Oh so what you’re trying to say is, you’ve ALWAYS been dark? Sis…”

Brielle also took to Twitter. She didn’t like that most of the backlash took place on the social media app. While she previously deleted her Twitter account, but then she made her grand return.
