It’s happening! Zak Bagans and the rest of the Ghost Adventures crew quarantined themselves inside The Haunted Museum. They spent two intense weeks inside the scary Las Vegas location. In the past, Zak has attempted to open the evil Dybbuk Box. He has not been successful, until now.

Zak to open the horrifying Dybbuk Box

Zak said this investigation was one of their strangest ever. While respecting social distancing, the foursome set out to quarantine for two weeks within the museum. They used no production crew and only the four of them shot the incredible footage. Doing the investigation for so long was tiring for the guys. It was even more so due to the coronavirus pandemic plaguing the country.

Newsweek  shared details about tonight’s premiere episode of the four part miniseries. The start of their two week adventure began on March 30. Zak has owned the cursed Dybbuk Box since 2017, although he’s never opened it. The box is thought to be one of the most haunted objects in the world. Anyone who dares to go near the box could be cursed and face many consequences.

The Box

The box actually inspired the horror movie The Possession in 2012. It has been said that after Zak brought the box to the museum grounds in 2017 weird occurrences began to happen. They shared, “Shortly following its arrival, mysterious protruding holes began to appear in the walls around the artifact as if something was trying to break out from within the exhibit.”

After nearly opening the box in 2018, he will finally do it during this intense investigation. It’s not known yet what consequences or troubles have plagued Zak since the investigation ended. In 2018 he had talked about why he didn’t go through with opening it. He said, “If I touch the Dybbuk Box and what happened to me—I don’t really want people to see that. Me crying. That reaction. That’s why—I don’t know. This is probably the most challenging, anxiety-driven investigation I’ve ever done. I can’t stop thinking about it.”

Musician Post Malone was with Zak when he initially touched the box. Many believe Post Malone was cursed by the experience.

Zak FINALLY opens the evil box

People shared even more details about Zak and the Dybbuk Box. Zak said, “It was an anxiety-driven investigation as raw and intense as we have ever done before.” He continued on, “I firmly believe the global pandemic caused the manifestations of spirit activity to be at an unprecedented level.”

Ultimately, Zak opened the box. He said, “The scariest moment for me is what I saw and felt,” He continued, “We captured on-camera an unbelievable mist coming out of the box that manifested eyes.” Zak also said he saw a figure “crouching down towards the wall behind the box.”

This is one investigation you do not want to miss. The four-part miniseries Ghost Adventures: Quarantine begins Thursday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
