Honey Boo Boo Preps Niece Ella Grace For Pageantry, Upsets Joshua Efrid
Honey Boo Boo seems like a bit of a handful for Pumpkin and her husband Joshua Efrid. Fans know that Alana stays with them now that her mom June Shannon took off with Geno, her boyfriend. Actually, they might do a rethink on letting Honey Boo Boo babysit their child Ella Grace, in the future. Alana prepped her niece for pageantry and upset Joshua.
Honey Boo Boo really loves her little niece Ella Grace
TV Shows Ace noted that Honey Boo Boo quite often goes onto her social media and talks about Ella Grace. Now she lives with her sister Pumpkin, she gets to spend much more time with her. Poor little Ella Grace misses her grandmother, Mama June. In one clip, fans saw the little girl saying as much during Mama June: Family Crisis. We noted back in December, that Ella Grace turned two-years-old and it’s not likely that Mama June saw her on her birthday.
Fans know that Mama June Shannon sold her home and took off in an RV with Geno. Estranged from her kids, she spent a lot of time in casinos and seemingly ran short of funds. As the current season plays out on WEtv, fans see Honey Boo distraught over her mom’s abandonment. But that doesn’t mean the young teen doesn’t get up to some mischief. Pumpkin freaked because she “pretended” to snort cocaine on social media. And now she upset Josh when she prepped his daughter for pageantry.
Ella Grace dressed for pageantry, Josh gets upset
InTouch Weekly revealed an early preview for the May 15 episode. In it, Josh and Pumpkin went out, leaving their 15-year-old ward to babysit. When they returned, Ella Grace had lipstick all over her face. Josh didn’t like it, but she looked quite cute in her little tutu. Rather tolerant, Pumpkin said that at least her sister never got into trouble on social media. But dismay came when Alana made another announcement in the Mama June: Family Crisis preview.
Alana rather cheerfully told Ella’s parents that she not only prepped their child for a pageant, but she also entered her into one. Josh seemed rather upset and said to Pumpkin that he recalled they didn’t want their child involved in pageantry. But Pumpkin felt that a bit of fun for Honey Boo Boo and Ella might not be out of place. After all, Alana never had a lot of fun since her mom disappeared. Rather reluctantly, Josh said he’d go along with it if it made Pumpkin happy.

Honey Boo Boo’s ecstatic
When Pumpkin went back to the bedroom to talk to her sister, she told her it might be fun to focus on little Ella for a while. Alana got so excited, yelling “yay” as she grabbed her niece in a bear-hug. In fact, Honey Boo Boo didn’t even seem too upset about hanging out with her dad Sugar Bear and his wife Jennifer the next day.
