Sister Wives fans love Meri Brown. On her Instagram account, she often interacts with people. Sometimes, she offers encouraging and inspiring quotes. Other times, she answers a few questions or reaches out to those in need. Now, she gave some very good advice to a fan who reacted to one of her posts.

Sister Wives – Meri Brown reached out to others during COVID-19

Fans of the TLC show know that Meri’s got a major side-hustle as a successful businesswoman. Like other people who work from home, she also felt the effects of the coronavirus restrictions. So many people struggle right now, but few of them bring themselves to ask for help. TV Shows Ace reported that Meri addressed that in late March. She shared how people really shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help. Plus, she recommended a group where people assist each other.

Grateful fans loved that she invited people to share their “side-hustle” on her Instagram page. Many of them took the opportunity for a bit of free advertising by the Sister Wives‘ star. But, many of them also worry about her family life and her relationship with Kody. She shared nothing at all of him for ages on her social media. But the other day, the Sun UK reported that Kody interrupted her LuLaRoe online Live sales pitch. He complained of stress and she gave him some advice. So, fans know she still sees Kody from time to time despite fans thinking she left him.

Meri shares an inspirational message gives a fan some good advice

Meri took to Instagram on Tuesday and shared one of the inspirational quotes she enjoys so much. It accompanied a nice photo of her looking slim and well. She wrote, “You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. Do the thing you think you cannot do.” Then, she credited Eleanor Roosevelt for saying that. The Sun noted some fans took that as a reaction to the bad relationship she experiences with Kody.

However, for one fan who cried for help in a way, Meri reacted kindly. The Sister Wives fan commented that Meri always looks so well and seems to have her life together. They noted that they wished they could be more like Meri. Meri replied and them, “just do you,” adding, that’s the “best” way to find happiness. That seems like very good advice, and ties in with the ideas of Psychology Today. They noted that people who are just themselves ended up happier than those who try and be someone they’re not.

Be yourself is good advice for happiness

The website cited a study done by “Yona Kifer and colleagues at Tel Aviv University.” They found people who just “do you,” seem much happier. They noted that more “authentic” people fared better when they behaved “in accordance with…true thoughts, beliefs, personality or values.” Fans of Sister Wives know that years ago, Meri actually studied psychology. In an episode from 2010, Meri explained she studied psychology as well as holding down a job.
