Jessa Seewald & Jill Dillard SLAMMED For Not Social Distancing
Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard are the latest members of the Counting On family to come under fire. Why? Well, it doesn’t appear as if Jessa and her sister Jill are taking social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously. Noticeably, this is something the Duggar family has come under fire for more than a few times. With such a large family, however, fans appreciate the unique challenge social distancing likely has on the Duggar clan during this time.
Jill Dillard recently shared a photo of Spurgeon Seewald and Israel Dillard playing together.
Quoting her sister Jessa, the picture read: “These cousins finally got to see each other yesterday for the first time in awhile and this was the only pic I got lol.”
Counting On fans certainly appreciated seeing such a sweet photo of Spurgeon Seewald and Israel Dillard. They also appreciated knowing Jessa and Jill still managed to stay close and spend time together. Naturally, there was also some sadness in knowing this was the only photo snapped of what was probably an adorable play date between cousins.
Fans, however, also had a lot of concerns regarding the sweet photo as well.
Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald caught heat for not taking social distancing seriously.
Now, there are a few undeniable facts about the snapshot. First, it surfaced on Jill Dillard’s Instagram Story today. Considering it quoted Jessa Seewald. It likely appeared on her Instagram Story at some point in time as well.
Spurgeon Seewald and Israel Dillard look relatively clean, clothed, and safe in the photo. They are playing inside of a backyard next to the house with a huge privacy fence surrounding the home. Noticeably, they do not have shoes on which seems to be a common theme within the Duggar family.
So, with all of this in mind, what is the big deal with the photo? What are some Counting On fans having an issue with? Well, it is the fact that Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald do not live under the same roof. Spurgeon Seewald and Israel Dillard are certainly not six feet apart in the photo. The fact that the duo are playing barefooted in a yard together suggests the family is not practicing social distancing as recommended.
As a result, some fans of the Duggar family are concerned… They are concerned Jill and Jessa are putting their children at risk. Moreover, they take huge issue with the Duggar sisters not taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously.
In fact a lot of fans took screenshots of the photo and shared it in Duggar Facebook groups. Then, they were quick to share their thoughts on the photo. Overall, they weren’t happy with it. They didn’t understand why Jessa Seewald and Jill Duggar thought their family were above staying home.
