Chris Harrison

Chris Harrison says, “The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart was inspired after he watched Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper perform. The musician turned actor sang with Cooper at the Academy Awards. Lady Gaga has admitted, “that she loves The Bachelor,” therefore why not see if she will do a cameo. If Lady Gaga would come on Listen to Your Heart, that would be my ultimate goal, said host Chris Harrison.

Chris Harrison explained, “that moment when Gaga and Bradley Cooper sang together A Star Is Born. You just thought they would start making out there on stage.” That’s when they started brain storming Chris asked, “could we recreate that kind of chemistry? Could we do that with The Bachelor?

How The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart Works

The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart will include twenty singles, each person with a musical background. Hoping to find love and also have a music career. Since everyone is there to find both it’s relieves some pressure, according to Chris Harrison.

Chris Harrison explained, all these musicians come from crazy walks of life. “Some people have been grinding at this for forever. One of the guys that was just on American Idol, someone came out of their church choir, musical theater, you name it. They all want that relationship,” The host explained, “they know is tough to find love being a musician.”

If Your A Bachelor Fan You Will Love Listen To Your Heart

Chris Harrison did his best to explain what the show will focus on more. He told Us Weekly, it’s “much more ParadiseBachelor [or] Bachelorette, less American Idol,” except that it’s more focused on the relationship side of things.

The host Chris Harrison said, “If we’ve learned anything over the years, it is about forming those relationships, the sincere love, then we’re going to lean into the music part of it.” I’m sure there are some folks that are skeptical of the idea and Chris understands that. He also explains, “that if your a Bachelor fan it’s going to have that awesome familiarity. It’s going to feel right.”

There may be a good chance some of the contestants cross over to the Bachelor in Paradise franchise. Chris Harrison teased, “I don’t see why not. I mean, that’s the good thing about The Bachelor. There are no rules. It’s not like we’d be breaking any regulations,” He said, “if someone is single and they are a good fit, why not?”

The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart premieres on ABC Monday, April 13, at 8 p.m. ET.
