Todd Chrisley Speaks Out About Motivations & Audiences

Todd Chrisley

Todd Chrisley fans know he’s the patriarch of the Chrisley Knows Best show. But, he’s also looked upon as a “preacher. And, he often puts out his thoughts on social media. In fact, he took to his Instagram to talk about what motivates people and audiences. One person noted it might be an extension of another quote made about doing good deeds.

Todd Chrisley posts thought-provoking message on Instagram

Taking to his Instagram on Thursday, Todd shared a rather thought-provoking message. It said, “Too many of you can’t move in silence.”

Then, he explained why he thought that. Todd pointed out, “You want applause from an audience that doesn’t even care about you.”

In this caption, he just wrote, “shhhhhhh.”

Well, did Todd talk about being on a TV show? Or, did he apply that to people trolling on him? What did he mean by that? One fan noted to Todd, “You said a Mouthful!!!”

Well, someone else came online and commented on Todd Chrisley’s post. And, it looks like they linked it to something else Todd said on his podcast. It could mean something similar to a Bible text. They wrote, “I quoted this from your recent podcast that I listened to this morning If you do something good for someone else….do it because you have compassion for your neighbour…..not to be able to shout about it in public. Let your discreet good deed be your testimony!”

Todd Chrisley message sort of originated in the bible

Something very similar came from the bible, but not in Todd’s exact words. Fans of Todd know he’s a religious man, a family man and a Christian. But, some of his followers may not know that bit of scripture. In the bible, there’s a place where talking about good deeds and audiences get mentioned.

Bible Hub notes the International Version of the Bible says in the book of Matthew, “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.”

Then, the same website notes the Study Bible explains what it means. There, it says, “when you give to the needy, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward.”

So, it looks like Todd Chrisley means that people who say too much probably lost their reward from God. But, the irony is, their audiences don’t even care, so it’s pretty much all for nothing. Now, do you get why he just captioned his post with “shhhhh?”

Sound off your ideas about what you think Todd meant by his message on motivation and audiences.
