Kourtney Kardashian Quits: Will ‘KUWTK’ Be Cancelled?
Concerns are currently swirling that KUWTK might be cancelled.
Kourtney Kardashian confirmed she was quitting Keeping Up with the Kardashians earlier this evening. She did so by responding to a KUWTK fan’s tweet exclaiming they no longer wanted her on the show. According to Heavy, this has — unsurprisingly — caused some fans to worry. Will the reality TV series survive losing Kourtney Kardashian?
KUWTK cancelled rumors resurface.
Five months ago — in October — Tv Shows Ace reported on rumors the show might be coming to an end.
Rumors KUWTK might be cancelled swirled just after Season 17 debuted. These rumors were partly the result of a dip in ratings. Unfortunately, there just aren’t as many people watching the series. Do people find the Kardashian family boring? The ratings plummeting certainly suggested that was the case.
The Kardashian and Jenner family’s lack of interest in the show didn’t help the rumors. Fans couldn’t help but notice Kim, Kourney, Khloe, and the rest of the family were moving on with other ventures in life. Perhaps they just don’t have time for the show anymore?
Some suspected the family’s lack of interest and passion in the direction of the series was likely party of the problem. If the Kardashians and Jenners weren’t vested in the series… Why should the fans be?
Fans have mixed feelings for Kourtney Kardashian.
As we previously reported, some fans were itching to get Kourtney Kardashian removed from the series. That, however, doesn’t mean all fans of the series hate her. In fact, Kourtney had tons of fans on her social media express how sad they were to learn she was exiting the show. Some even noted they only watch the series because of her. A few even admitted they weren’t sure the series could survive without her.

Is it only a matter of time before other members of the Kardashian family exit the show? Is KUWTK doomed to be cancelled? Time will tell.
A Season 19 of KUWTK is in the works already.
If they cancel KUWTK… It won’t happen until after Season 19. Kris Jenner confirmed Season 19 during a conversation with Ellen DeGeneres.
At the time, they already started recording Season 19. Despite quitting, Kourtney does play a role in Season 19. Kourtney reportedly sets “boundaries” for her family in Season 19.
