‘LPBW’: Matt Roloff Releases Premiere Date For New Season, Short Trailer Drops
LPBW fans waited for a confirmation date for a new season of the TLC show. Finally, Matt Roloff went onto Instagram to tell them when it’s coming. He also talked a bit about Caryn Chandler. Plus, a short trailer for the season dropped. It’s not long to go now before the Roloff family returns as it premieres on March 31 at 9 p.m. ET.
LPBW Matt Roloff says expect Caryn Chandler in the new season
Fans possibly expected more of Caryn Chandler, Matt’s girlfriend. They saw her engaging with the family more this year as both Audrey and Tori gave birth to the new grandkids. While Amy and Caryn didn’t become bosom buddies, they seem civil towards each other these days. On his Instagram post, Matt said, “Well! it’s official!! The waiting is almost over..” He added that fan will see “All the new episodes” they worked on in the past “6 months.”
Promising some “good TV” he mentioned that Caryn’s “on the show.” Meanwhile, in the trailer, Matt talks a bit more about her. The trailer starts off with Matt taking people down memory lane, showing the years he and Amy raised their family. Revisit Zach as a tiny little boy. Then we see him and Tori marrying. You’ll see another flashback of Baby J arriving. Next, Amy comes in, saying they thought they’d “grow old together on the farm.” But, the LPBW mom says, “plans changed.”
The trailer then picks up from last season
Then the trailer flicks back to last season where Matt and Amy bickered over the sale of the land and the future of the farm. Once again fans briefly saw Chris Marek and Amy begin their romance. Then Matt introduces the subject of Caryn. He points out that she’s been the “farm manager for a number of years.” He mentioned they’re officially dating. He says his goal is to “eventually get married to Caryn.” Maybe fans see a proposal this season.
None of this sits easily on Amy, but she says that she and Matt work hard to make it all okay, especially for the rest of the family. As Caryn says, probably “it’s always a bit awkward, but it’s getting better.” She added, “just roll with the punches.” The question is whether the fans of LPBW choose to roll with those punches as well. Fans split into camps when the divorce went through. Matt haters will never forgive Caryn as they think she busted up the marriage. Meanwhile, LPBW fans who love Matt and Caryn, accuse Amy of being a nasty person.
Amy makes a big move
