What Is Picture Perfect Mysteries: Dead Over Diamonds About?
In this new Hallmark mystery, Picture Perfect Mysteries: Dead Over Diamonds, Allie Adams (Alexa) has once again found herself in the midst of a mystery. The professional photographer finds herself connected to a valuable necklace that’s been stolen. When the high stakes theft turns out to now include a murder, Allie enlists P.D. Detective Sam Acosta (Carlos) to help her solve this mystery and find the murderer.
Although Alexa and Sam work well together, Sam doesn’t want Allie to get involved and in danger!

How The PenaVega Name Came To Be
When Alexa Pena and Carlos Vega got married, they wanted their last names to be something special. Speaking on On With Mario Lopez, they explained how they combined their name to come up with PenaVega. Carlos explained: “We were at the county getting the license and we happened to do it in Ventura County.” Turns out, they were “pretty lenient,” so the two converged and figured out what they wanted. He didn’t explain if they even considered VegaPena, but it seems that he was quite happy with PenavVega.
Carlos shared that since he was Dominican and Alexa, Columbian, and they wanted a combo of their names. When the county allowed them to combine to PenaVega, the two celebrated when their form was stamped. Carlos shared that he then shouted, “We’re PenaVegas!”
Picture Perfect Mysteries: Dead Over Diamonds is their second Hallmark mystery. The couple are prepared to film their third in the next month.
