‘Counting On’ Fans Puzzled By Anna Duggar’s Kobe Bryant Tribute
Anna Duggar joined the wave of celebs and reality TV personalities to take to Twitter on January 26th to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant.
Kobe Bryant recently died suddenly and unexpectedly.
As we previously reported, NBA superstar Kobe Bryant passed away unexpectedly after his helicopter crashed.
Tragically, his wife Vanessa Laine Bryant didn’t just lose her husband in the crash. Their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, was also on the helicopter with her father. She has been confirmed to have passed away as well. While there were reports that some of his other children were also on the helicopter, these reports turned out to be inaccurate.
Anna Duggar paid tribute to Kobe Bryant, and some found it puzzling.
Anna Duggar’s tribute to the fallen NBA legend was short and sweet. According to Cheat Sheet, the tribute attracted a fair amount of attention from Duggar and Counting On fans on Reddit. Many thought it was odd that Anna Duggar would be on the list of those paying tribute to Kobe Bryant. Some questioned if Anna could even really know much about who he was. After all, do Duggars even watch sports?
The responses on the Reddit thread, which has been locked by a moderator, were not all bad. Some noted that a person didn’t have to be a fan of Kobe Bryant to mourn his death. These individuals went on to clarify that their hearts went out to the family of the basketball player regardless of how well they did or did not know them.

Other individuals noted Anna’s tribute was a prime example of why they didn’t care for celebrity deaths. The individual went on to clarify that anytime a celebrity passes away it is a devastating crisis even though most people don’t really know him.
So, does the Duggar family know anything about sports?
One user on the Reddit thread noted there was a period of time where Anna stepped away from the “fundie life.” The individual noted they “wouldn’t be surprised” if Anna absorbed knowledge regarding pop culture during that time. So, it is possible she knows something about Kobe Bryant.

Jeremy Vuolo is possibly the most knowledgeable about sports in the family. He once played soccer professionally. He and his wife Jinger have also taken their daughter Felicity to a few sports games since they moved to L.A.
