Lala Kent is only tough because she’s been through a lot. But now the Vanderpump Rules star is showing a side of herself that we don’t always see. Her vulnerable side. She is opening up about the challenges she’s overcome in her life.

Not only that, but she’s been through her share of cyberbullying. She deleted her Twitter account for that reason alone. Bullying is a topic that she’s previously opened up about on the Bravo series. In time for her upcoming podcast, she wants to address these tough topics.

Bravo star speaks out about sobriety

Even though she didn’t fit in with the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast at first, things have changed for Lala Kent. She is now well-liked by her fellow cast members. She’s also become good friends with Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, and Kristen Doute. The reason why she wasn’t well-received before was because of her random outbursts associated with her alcoholism. She has since calmed down now that she’s sober and has met her fiancé, Randall Emmett.

The actress is sharing the challenges that come with sobriety. She knew that she needed a strong support system of people who understand what she has gone through. Once she made the commitment to get sober, she mended her friendships with her fellow cast mates. Now that she’s sober, Kent can focus on her career. She also wants to be an inspiration to others, as reported by Yahoo Entertainment.

“My sobriety is something I’m proud of and work on every day,” Kent previously wrote on Instagram. “I’ve never done cocaine nor were any other substances, other than alcohol, involved in my decision to get sober.”

“I pride myself on being open and honest about everything in my life, hopefully inspiring others and letting them know they are not alone,” she concluded.

Lala Kent admits to being cyberbullied

Even if she has a tough exterior, some things get to her. Last year, Kent found herself in the middle of a feud with 50 Cent. The rapper accused the reality star of abusing drugs, a claim she denies. Now, she wants to share her struggles with cyberbullying to help others who have been through the same experience. She wants her fans to know that they are not alone in their struggles.

The VPR star wants to use her platform to help others who suffer from cyberbullying and to get the help they need. She also wants to remind those who are dealing with it to know they are loved and that they’re much needed in this world. She could use her podcast to share her experiences with cyberbullying.

Launches podcast with fiancé

Randall Emmett is setting his Hollywood career aside to start on a new project alongside his fiancée. Kent and Emmett are working on their first podcast together. It’s aptly titled Give Them Lala…with Randall and will be available on Apple and Spotify podcasts on Jan. 22. In an exclusive interview with Page Six on Friday, January 17, Kent talked about the inspiration behind their collaborative project.

“Randall and I both like to talk a lot and we’re always very curious about people’s lives and how they came to the place that they are in their life and we thought, ‘What better than a podcast for us?'” Kent said.

Even if it’s a collaborative effort, the former SUR waitress feels in total control. She doesn’t even have control of her social media anymore. Emmett admitted that being on a podcast is going to be different from working behind the scenes. Being engaged to Kent has made him less private than he used to be. He’s also making an appearance on this season’s Vanderpump Rules. As reported by TV Shows Ace, the couple has set a wedding date for April 2020.

The podcast sounds like a great way for Lala Kent to share what she’s been through. She could be an inspiration to her young fans. What are your thoughts? Sound off below in the comments section.
