‘Teen Mom OG’: Ryan & Mackenzie Edwards Baby Arrives – No MTV Filming Done
Teen Mom OG star Mackenzie Standifer Edwards kept very quiet during her pregnancy. But, news came out she gave birth to her and Ryan’s daughter on New Year’s Day. However, it looks like that won’t be seen on the MTV show. Apparently, the baby came so fast, the camera and production crew couldn’t scramble there fast enough.
Teen Mom OG star Mackenzie Standifer Edwards baby arrived in a huge rush
TV Shows Ace reported that the baby news came from Mackenzie on Instagram in July last year. We noted, she shared a photo of her sonogram. Mackenzie wrote, “Baby Girl Edwards is coming in January! 🎀.” Then she went very quiet and the last post from her came on October 25. And it wasn’t baby news, either. It seemed that she really wanted this pregnancy free from trolling, especially as MTV followers often criticize her about Ryan using drugs.
No great fanfare came ahead of the baby being born. The Sun UK reported that the baby came very fast. They spoke to Ryan’s dad, Larry. He told them that the baby came on January 1, 2020. The new baby’s been named Stella Rhea. Larry said, “We’re so excited. She looks like Mackenzie!” This child is the second one for the Teen Mom OG stars. They already welcomed Jagger in October 2018. Additionally, there’s Ryan and Maci Bookout’s son, Bentley. Plus, they also have Hudson, Mackenzie’s son from a previous relationship.

MTV didn’t film the birth of Mackenzie and Ryan’s daughter
Mackenzie managed to keep her pregnancy private. And, now it looks like she won’t need to share this intimate birth moment with fans either. That’s because Larry told the outlet Stella Rhea arrived so fast. He said, “It was unexpected. One push and she was here!” Plus, she came along ahead of the due date. So, the MTV crew just couldn’t get there quick enough to film the moment.
Meanwhile, fans heard that Ryan missed the birth of Jagger, but he was around for Stella. Recall that he was in rehab when Jagger came along. Larry expressed how happy he was that his son was there for the newest Teen Mom OG addition. Naturally, fans hope for some photos of baby Stella Rhea. It looks like that wish could come true soon. Larry said they already took photos which they intend to share on social media. That will break a drought on these two, as Ryan last shared an Instagram photo back in July 2018.
