‘My 600-Lb Life’ Season 8 Started, But What Happened To Alum Erica Wall?
My 600-Lb Life returned to TLC on New Year’s Day. Fans, keen for the new season, often wonder about those people they previously followed as they shed life-threatening weight. Erica Wall last featured on the spinoff, Where Are They Now? in 2018. Prior to that, we saw her struggle with her 650-pound weight. So what happened to her, and is she still keeping off that 300 pounds she lost?

January 2020 brings fans a slew of their favorite TLC shows. TV Shows Ace reminded viewers that they can expect to see Dr. Pimple Popper. Then there’s Sister Wives and My Big Fat Fabulous Life. Plus, the network returns with I Am Jazz. And, as seems normal now, plenty of 90 Day Fiance spinoffs. My 600-LB Life kicked off its new season, and fans watch with avid fascination as the new cast reveal their backstories.
But, this brings to mind some of the older cast members. What happens to them after the cameras get turned off, they wonder? Well, InTouch Weekly reminds us that Erica once heard her father describe her as”Godzilla.” And, fans grew irritated with her as she initially seemed not to understand about not eating all the wrong things. In fact, in one scene, she grumbled because the “nutritionist tossed out bags of food.” In fact, she vowed to just go back to the store and buy some more. But, the My 600-Lb Life star later lost weight and even found love.
Erica updates fans on her Facebook often
Erica often shares on her Facebook about her life and her steady weight loss. Plus she likes sharing inspirational messages. In fact, her New Year post featured a shared quote saying she’s gonna “stop wondering if she’s good enough for other people, and start wondering if they’re good enough” for her. Starcasm noted that she recently posted a family tribute to her mom on her Facebook. In the photos, she looks healthy and well.
Part of the tribute noted that having a “kind heart” is what “truly makes a person beautiful.” She also wrote about positivity and how a “smile and kindness mean everything in this world.” Meanwhile, fans heard that she started dating. The My 600-Lb Life star contacted Jimmy via Skype and they started chatting a lot. As far as we know, this could still be an ongoing relationship today.
