‘Shameless’ Alum Sammi Hanratty Goes Topless On Instagram
Former Shameless actress Sammi Hanratty turned some heads on Instagram this weekend when she shared a topless photo with her 296,000 followers.
The photo post featured Sammi standing outdoors in what appears to be a dry riverbed that was banked on either side with lush greenery. Against a background that was lightly blurred for effect, the photographer captured an image of the 24-year-old actress as she stood topless in the sandy dirt. She rocked nothing more than a pair of what appear to be loose-fit men’s vintage Levi’s jeans.
Sammi Hanratty remained modest in the sizzling snapshot.
In the snap, Sammi stood with her body turned to the side with her arms crossed tightly in front of her to shield her bare bosom from the camera. She cradled one arm atop the other and was photographed with one hand resting against her side while the other sat gently under her chin.
The Shameless alum’s skin was bare from neck to waist apart from the abstract tattoo visible on her side. The loose-fit jean hung around her waist. They were loose around her bottom as well. The dirty-blonde bombshell wore her shoulder-length hair loose and wild around her face and shoulders. The wind only helped to give a more tousled and volumizing effect.
The young star opted for a very light and natural makeup look, with a light foundation, a bit of color in the cheek, and a pop of light pink on the lip. The lack of eye-makeup really added to the natural feel of the photo.

In the short text caption that she added to accompany her post, Hanratty says:
“In my roots in Arizona…I lost my top and my mind.”
While the purpose of the photo was unclear, it was a hit with her followers.
It’s undetermined whether the shot was for a pre-scheduled photo shoot or simply something done spontaneously with the help of a friend. But, the bare-skinned photo seems to have been a huge hit with her followers. Since its addition to the social platform on Friday, the photo has been liked by fans more than 27,000 times. It has also been showered with nearly 350 comments.
Fans of the self-proclaimed “girl that no one liked” on Shameless left the usual plethora of heart and fire emojis. Some admirers, however, chose to leave a more comedic mark on the comment section.
“Well it’s a good xmas now,” jested one fan.
“I dont think ill ever get tired of these kinds of photos… hope you are doing well Sammi!” added another
“I lost my mind but don’t remember where exactly,” mentioned a third.
Sammi posted a different photo from the same photo shoot.
In addition to this well-received photo snap, Hanratti also posted a second Instagram post from the same shoot. This time it was a close-up taken from the shoulder’s up. Featuring the same, tousled hair and natural makeup look. The second photo, posted on Saturday, received more than 8,000 likes in just over an hour of being on the site.

Fans of Sammi Hanratty will be excited to know that she will be carrying a small role in the upcoming television drama YellowJackets alongside Christina Ricci and Juliette Lewis. The pilot episode is set to air later this year.
