‘Welcome To Plathville’: Moriah Looks Forward To ‘Wiping The Slate Clean’ In The New Year
Welcome To Plathville ran for just six episodes on TLC, but the Plath family series brought a lot of curious fans and controversy. Moriah, described as “different” on the show, kicks at the strict rules and desires emancipation. Being on the show obviously changed her life and she can’t get over just how much that happened. Now, she says she that she can’t wait for the new year to “wipe the slate clean.”

Most people share more Christmas messages around this time of the year. But, Moriah’s already looking ahead to the new year. Actually, fans might wonder if Moriah even gets to celebrate Christmas if she’s at home with her restrictive parents, Barry and Kim. TV Shows Ace reported that her brother Ethan never celebrated the holidays before. Oliva, his wife, shared on Instagram they don’t really know how to do it. But, they’ll make an effort to find something to celebrate this year.
If you can’t recall Moriah from Welcome to Plathville, we can tell you she’s a very talented singer. TV Overmind reminds us that the Plath Family Band run by Kim “features an 11-piece ensemble of all-family members who sing and play instruments. They do some traveling and performing in a folk-style gospel musical group. Moriah is the lead singer for the group.” She also grew very close to her sister-in-law, Olivia. Olivia’s not Kim’s favorite person as Olivia thinks the kids are raised too strictly.
Soda, ice cream, and TV-denied Moriah looks to wiping the slate clean in the New Year
Taking to her Instagram on Sunday night, Moriah shared her thoughts about the new year. She wrote, “I may not be as close to the top as you but I may have had a higher mountain to climb⚓️.” That might allude to her efforts at emancipation. But she sounds hopeful for next year. She added, “2020 is going to be a good year. Starting my list of new years resolutions…I’ve always loved that about a new year, it wipes your slate clean and you get to start over and write it again.”
Well, perhaps she reflected on starring on the Welcome To Plathville show as she also wrote a bit more. She said, “With how much has happened this past year of my life I’m not sure I can even think as far as what’s gonna happen this next year but I am all in for the adventure 2020 is gonna bring!” Then, Moriah concluded with, “let’s live this life to it’s fullest and never stop chasing our dreams✨🖤. Remembering back to December a year ago and it’s a whole new world now… funny how life changes… but my dreams still stay the same only a few steps closer🤟🏼.”
