Chrishell Hartley Takes Back Her Name, No Longer Associated With ‘This Is Us’ Ex Justin
If you are looking for Chrishell Hartley, you are out of luck. The Selling Sunset star is no longer available on social media by that name. The soon-to-be former wife of This Is Us star Justin Hartley has changed her social media. Are you up-to-date?
Chrishell Hartley Changes Her Name
After two years, Chrishell Hartley is back to her maiden name. Anyone looking for her on Instagram by her married name will now get a “Page Not Found” warning. Instead, you can find Chrishell on Instagram with her maiden name, under the handle Chrishell.Stausse. Her handle is her first and last name with a period in between. She has symbolically rid herself of Hartley.
Furthermore, on Twitter, the former Days of Our Lives star has changed her handle to just be her unique first name, “Chrishell,” using the handle @Chrishell7. She, or a member of her social media team, may need to do a little editing in her Twitter bio. The bio includes a link to her Instagram page, but for that now obsolete page, that used her married name.
Although her last name is no longer Hartley, she has not removed photographs of the This Is Us star. It should be noted that Justin Hartley has not cleansed his social media of his estranged wife.
Setting Sunset Star’s Divorce Filing Requested Name Change
On December 3, TV Shows Ace reported that Chrishell Hartley filed for divorce. The papers cited that November 22, 2019 was the date of separation. That was the exact day that Justin Hartley blindsided Chrishell by filing for divorce. This is in serious contradiction to Justin’s separation date of July 8, 2019. The actress also asked for spousal support, including Hartley paying for her attorney fees. The filing also asked her last name revert back to her maiden name of Stause.
That same week, Stause moved out of the couple’s new mini-mansion, along with their adorable dog. Although neither has made a public statement, TV Shows Ace wrote that Stause did post a telling quote on her Instagram page, on December 2. The quote is from Nishan Panwar, an inspirational writer from India.

Is Justin Hartley Expecting A Big Payout?
Friends who know the couple are quite surprised at the sudden split. TV Shows Ace noted that just a few days before Justin filed for divorce, the Hartleys hosted a very special viewing party, to honor their mutually close friend, Melissa Claire Egan. Holiday For Heroes is Egan’s first Hallmark movie. This did not appear to be a couple ready to split.
Yet, sources close to Chrishell Stause say that she believes Justin Hartley is getting a big payout, and wants to freeze her out. Right now, the chess pieces are set. Who will make the next move?
