‘Counting On’ Joy-Anna Forsyth Learned An Important Lesson Living In A Campervan
Counting On fans know that Joy-Anna Forsyth revealed she and Austin lived in a campervan. But, since that reveal, we heard they bought their own home. She and Austin nearly completed all the renovations in it. Already, they got the family over to celebrate moving in. But, it looks like she learned an important life lesson while living in the campervan.
Counting On – campervan life not ideal, but enjoyable for Joy-Anna Forsyth
TV Shows Ace reported in August that Joy-Anna and Austin enjoyed their private little campervan while they stayed in it. But, she admitted that sometimes it felt a little bit cramped. However, certain advantages meant Joy took very little time with cleaning. She said on her Instagram that she quickly learned to keep things tidy and make the most of the cupboard space. Cost-effective, they based in it while her hubby, Austin, bought, renovated and flipped off homes for profit.
Then they got the opportunity to buy their own home. Cheatsheet reported that the Counting On stars got it for a song. The amount they paid came to so little, one could almost think it as a gift from Jim Bob Duggar. Austin and Joy set to fixing and renovating the new home for themselves. That handy campervan found a use. Being mobile, they parked it right in the yard. So, neither of them needed to travel far to get to work on it.
The new house occupied, and Joy-Anna learned a lesson
The new home, a 3 bed, 3 bath place, seems very nice and they moved into it already. Obviously, there’s some work still outstanding. But on the whole, it’s their home now. They invited their family over to celebrate, she said in an Instagram Story. Other photos on the Story showed that Gideon’s room’s huge in comparison to the little corner he occupied in the campervan. Basically furnished, they added some stuff. But, it looks like Joy-Anna learned an important life lesson in the campervan.
On one of her Stories, Joy said, “I feel like I have way too much stuff.” Then she added, “Living in the camper I learned that I can live off of a lot less than I thought I could.” Well, Counting On fans know that Joy Forsyth grew up in a home with multitudes of other kids. No matter how frugal Jim Bob tried to live, they always had lots of clutter around them. And, living with less stuff cluttering the place is beneficial.
Less ‘stuff’ is good for people
Often, people put way too many things in their homes. Many of them, like ornaments, just pretty the place up. But, other things fill the corners, get stuck into nooks, and all over the place. And, mostly, they seldom have any use. The Simple Lion Heart Life blog notes, “Studies have shown that a cluttered environment can cause stress and anxiety in people.”
So, it looks like Counting On‘s Joy won’t suffer too much anxiety about stress over the “looming thoughts” of all those things like cleaning, finding, and tidying. The outlet notes, “these chores can cause a lot of stress and anxiety.” What do you think about Joy-Anna Forsyth learning that important life-lesson in the campervan? Is it necessary to clutter up the home with stuff you don’t need? Sound off your thoughts in the comments below.
