Former ‘KUWTK’ Star Lamar Odom and Fiancée Sabrina Parr Won’t Be Intimate Until After Marriage
The ex-husband of Khloé Kardashian is a new man. After turning to religion to battle his addictions, Lamar Odom has chosen to abstain from intimate relations with his fiancée, Sabrina Parr. Us Weekly reports that the couple were open and honest about their decision.
Lamar went public with his new romance over the summer. His new woman is a fitness trainer. They announced their engagement a short three months later.
Former DWTS Contestant Keeps Things Chaste in the Bedroom
As fans know, Lamar suffered a serious overdose in 2015. At the time, he was separated from now-ex Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloé Kardashian. The divorce was put on hold while he recovered, but the two ultimately split for good in 2016.
After Lamar’s terrifying experience, he began consulting with a pastor to continue his recovery. As part of his path, the pastor suggested the couple practice abstinence until their wedding night. Sabrina says she “allowed” her future husband to make that decision for both of them.
Once Lamar got saved, he developed a relationship with a pastor and there’s a lot of things he just wants to grow, areas he wants to grow in, and things he wants to improve on as a man. And as a man, the pastor suggested to him, it’s not Godly if Christians like to have [relations] before marriage.”
Fiancé Says Former Basketball Player Wants to “Honor” Her
Another reason Lamar wanted to wait to take things to the next level is to honor the standards Sabrina holds herself to. The couple revealed they are “holding on strong,” but the wedding will be ASAP.
One thing he told me was, the way I respect myself and the standards that I have, they’re very intriguing to him. So, it makes him want to honor me in that way. So, so far so good. Since we’ve been engaged, since before we’ve gotten engaged, we have been holding on strong.”
Report: KUWTK’s Khloé Not Back with Tristan Thompson
After her divorce from Lamar, the KUWTK star began dating another basketball player – Tristan Thompson. While the couple never wed, they had one daughter together, True Thompson. The duo split up after a public cheating scandal involving the NBA star and Jordyn Woods, a family friend.
However, Tristan recently started leaving flirty comments on Khloé’s Instagram photos. This prompted many outlets, including TV Shows Ace, to believe the couple was back together. A Kardashian source denied the rumors to Yahoo Entertainment.
The woman at the center of the cheating scandal, Jordyn Woods, denies anything more than a kiss transpired with Tristan. She recently took a lie detector test to prove her innocence. However, Khloé shadily posted a rant against “liars” on her Instagram Stories.
It remains to be seen if Khloé and Tristan have secretly resumed their relationship. The rest of Season 17 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians airs Sundays on E! Network.
Lamar competed on Season 28 of Dancing With The Stars. Sabrina posted on her Instagram in September that the couple would be starring in an upcoming reality show called Sabrina & Lamar.
