‘Sister Wives’: Maddie Brown Brush Shares About Their Very Sad Day
Sister Wives star Maddie Brown Brush went through a whirlwind of different emotions over the last few months. First, she was excited about the birth of Evie K. Then came the blow when they found out their new baby girl suffered from a rare medical condition. And, now she shared about the family going through a very sad time.
Sister Wives, after joy comes concern and then a very sad day for Maddie Brown Brush
TV Shows Ace reported that Maddie Brown Brush was full of relief and joy when she welcomed her baby daughter Evie K safely in October. But then we heard via People, that her joy was tempered with concern. It turned out that Evie got diagnosed with a rare condition. The outlet wrote, “the newborn was…missing a thumb and a toe, and one leg was missing a fibula (commonly known as the calf bone) and also had a bowed tibia (shinbone). ”
Now, another emotional issue blew up for the Sister Wives‘ daughter of Kody and Janelle Brown. Taking to her Instagram on Wednesday night, Maddie shared some very sad news. She posted up a photo of Caleb and his big brown dog. She captioned it with, “Its a sad day here at the Brush household. Yesterday night we had to say goodbye to Caleb’s brown baby and our very loving family member. Miss Nova’s presence will be greatly missed. She was one of a kind! 💚”

Sister Wives fans and family were quick to reach out to Maddie after they heard the sad news that their doggie passed away. Janelle Brown wrote, “I’m so sad she will no longer be there, so happy to greet me when I visit. She really was one of a kind.” One follower noted, “It is truly loosing a family member😢 (sic).” Another follower said, “So sorry for your loss! Fur babies make our lives so much better! I wish they could live forever!!!”
And, yes, losing a fur baby is a real bereavement. In fact, Scientific American notes we should take the loss of a pet seriously. They wrote, “pet loss can be [extremely painful] and…it can impair our emotional and physical health. Symptoms of acute grief after the loss of a pet can last from one to two months.” In some instances, the heart-break can take a year to ease up. Hopefully, the little Sister Wives family won’t grieve too long and in the future look to getting in another fur baby.
