The OG of The Real Housewives of Orange County is putting her foot down regarding her status on the Bravo show. Vicki Gunvalson tells fans that she will only come back next season if she’s back in a full-time role.

As viewers know, Vicki was demoted for Season 14 of the original Real Housewives franchise. She did manage to stir up her share of drama in a guest “Friend of” role.

During her appearance at the BravoCon panel, Vicki opened up about her decision. She also shaded former co-star Meghan King Edmonds’ impending divorce.

RHOC Star: “I’m Never Coming Back Reduced Again”

Internet sleuths broke the news of Vicki’s demotion months before The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Season 14 premiered. The reality star downplayed the role reduction.

However, now she opens up about one of the “hardest things” in her life. People reports that Vicki doesn’t plan to return to RHOC unless she’s given a full-time role.

“I’m never coming back reduced again.”

Earlier this summer, Vicki told Jerry O’Connell on his Bravo show that she wouldn’t be leaving RHOC any time soon. Why is her stance different now?

“I don’t know what my future is, but I’m having fun and they’re my friends. I have very much love for my franchise — a love for what I’ve created [and] a lot of love for my cast, we’ve been through hell and back. But truthfully, it’s our reality. It’s what my life has gone through for the last 14 years. And it’s been some bumpiness.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards appeared on the same panel. She was asked about how she will know it’s time to stop whooping it up.

“As long as we’re having fun still. I know there’s a lot of drama and a lot of conflict, but it’s also a lot of fun.”

Vicki Shades Former Co-Star Meghan King Edmonds

One thing fans know about Vicki is that she takes a while to warm up to new co-stars. In some cases, that warming up never happens. Vicki is on the outs with RHOC co-star and former friend Kelly Dodd this season on The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Vicki also has a bumpy past with former co-star Meghan King Edmonds. While Vicki is happily engaged, Meghan is facing the end of her marriage after Jim Edmonds suddenly filed for divorce last month.

Viewers may recall Vicki angrily predicting that Meghan’s marriage wouldn’t last more than five years during an argument on RHOC. It turns out that Vicki was right. The unexpected divorce filing happened the day after Jim and Meghan’s five-year wedding anniversary.

RHOC Star Calls Meghan ‘Awful’

Despite their history, Vicki offered support to Meghan during Jim’s cheating scandal four months ago. Jim was caught texting explicit photos and videos to another woman. At the time, Meghan chose to remain in the marriage.

In fact, just days before the divorce news, Meghan revealed that the couple was in therapy. Jim tried to place the blame for the divorce on his wife’s “insecurity.” They reportedly had a blow-out argument regarding who he attended a hockey game with the week prior to the court filings.

In June, Vicki tweeted her sympathy for Meghan’s situation. She said that her former co-star did not deserve to be cheated on. “I’m so sorry. You are right. YOU did not deserve this.”

According to People, Vicki’s tune has changed regarding Meghan’s marriage. At BravoCon, Vicki revealed that she “knew” the couple were never going to make it.

“She’s so awful. She’s not very kind and I just saw them so disconnected. I thought, ‘you’re newlyweds!’ I can peg people coming down the aisle. They’re not going to make it, they’re not.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14 airs Tuesdays on Bravo.
