Pumpkin Shares Mae West Quote, Is It A message For Mama June Shannon?
Pumpkin, Honey Boo Boo’s big sister, currently shares quite a few inspirational quotes. Most fans of Mama June: From Not To Hot knows she’s got temporary custody of Honey Boo Boo. Also, June’s moved off with Geno Doak in her RV.
It’s hard for Pumpkin, fans think, as she also raises her own daughter. But, this weekend, she shared a quote by Mae West that might be a message for estranged mom June Shannon.

TV Shows Ace followed the sad and tragic events of June Shannon this year. In fact, Honey Boo Boo’s birthday was tinged with sadness as June seemed unwilling to contact the girl. Recall that during the last season, June refused family intervention. Her teeth started falling out and she obviously started on drugs. It culminated when she got arrested at a gas station for drug paraphernalia. Since then, she sold off her home and took off with Geno Doak.
TMZ reported an update about June Shannon this week. According to them, June still avoids contact with the family. So, maybe this time, Pumpkin’s message is more for her mom than for herself.

Pumpkin and little sister Honey Boo Boo obviously support each other during this distressing time. Both of them share inspirational quotes that seem to help them. Many fans send their loving support. But this time, given June’s behavior, maybe her Mae West quote was meant for June rather than herself.
If you’re not sure, Mae West was an actress and singer. She one said, ” You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” And, that’s the recent quote Pumpkin put out on her Instagram.
In September, The Blast reported that things were not looking great for her and Geno in relationship to the drug bust. In fact, the grand jury slapped them both with felony charges.
But, despite facing possible jail time if convicted, June resolutely refuses any family resolution. Plus, we already know she won’t give up Geno Doak’s bad influence for her daughter Honey Boo Boo. So, June’s not really living her life “right.”

These days social media’s an ugly place. Full of hate and trolls, it’s become an uglier side to the American culture. But, for Pumpkin, people use it to reach out and support June’s daughters.
The girls worry about June all the time. On her Instagram this weekend, fans stepped up once again, to comfort them.
One fan said to Pumpkin, “Your so beautiful inside and out! Praise you for being such a strong young woman and doing what needs to be done.” Others simply told Pumpkin how much they love her. And, those must be comforting words. However, one can’t help but feel that maybe Pumpkin’s sending a message to June.
