’90 Day Fiance’: Just A Year Ago Paul And Karine Looked Good, But Now, Divorce Looms Again
90 Day Fiance fans heard that Paul Staehle and Karine got some bad news. TV Shows Ace reported that thieves broke in and stripped their Manaus home bare. But, the bad news never ended there as Paul shared a Story on Instagram about divorce on Monday. It’s not the first time he mentioned the sad news.
90 Day Fiance couple Paul and Karine divorce seems more certain
Just a year ago, we reported that Paul and Karine looked good. We wrote about them celebrating their first anniversary. At the time, they expected their son, and they seemed positive, and very happy. A year later, things look grim for the couple. By September this year, things looked seriously unraveled. On his Instagram, Paul wrote, “Karine advogado de divórcio me ligou. Guess I need a lawyer. Karine’s divorce lawyer called me. Guess I need a lawyer.”
Even so, that wasn’t the first time we heard rumors of a divorce in the offing for the 90 Day Fiance couple. Certainly, little sympathy went their way, as Karine mentioned divorce countless times on the TLC show. In fact, fans became heartily sick of it. Nobody ever believed she meant it. But, this time, there may be some certainty as Paul still talks about it. On his latest IG story, he shared a cryptic, but clear message about divorce.

Cryptic message about divorce from Paul
On his Instagram Stories on Monday, Paul shared a cartoon card showing a GIF of Rick and Morty character Jerry Smith. The crying character also showed some Portuguese writing. US Weekly noted that it means, “Karine, 23, “started divorce proceedings” in Manaus, Brazil.” The outlet added that he also shared a clip of their kid, Pierre. “Paul said that “daddy’s gonna miss you” to the pair’s 7-month-old child, who was shown playing with a toy.”
That sounds really sad. But, on her IG, Karine just goes on about her life, not mentioning the divorce. It’s actually really hard figuring out Karine. Just a week ago, she shared a post on her IG in Portuguese (translated). It said, “Forgive me for not posting before It was a very tiring and busy days so Happy Wedding Anniversary. in those 2 years so many good things happened in our life. Our son @pierrestaehle is the best gift I love you and love our family.” That hardly sounds like the 90 Day Fiance star planned any divorce.
