Zooey Claire Deschanel is a 39-year-old actress best known for her role as the bubbly Jess from New Girl. Deschanel shook her fan base to their core when news broke she and her husband Jacob Pechenik were going their separate ways.
The story got juicier when Zooey had been linked to a new man just a week after confirming her split from her husband. Fortunately, the duo seemed to end their relationship on positive terms. In fact, Jacob even broke his silence on the split shortly after news Zooey had a new man in her life broke. He had nothing but positive things to say about his ex whom he shared multiple children with.
“Yeah, everything is amicable and we have two beautiful children together. We’ve been raising them and we’re going to continue to raise them, and take great care of get them.”
Speaking to Hollywood Life, Pechenik admitted that he was “happy” and believed the duo were “better off as friends.” Zooey and Jacob had been married for four years before ending their relationship.

Jonathan is 41-years-old. Like his new girlfriend, he has also been married. Scott was married to Jacinta Kuznetsov for three years before calling it quits last year.

Zooey took to Instagram roughly 24 hours ago to make her relationship with the Property Brothers star official. The actress shared an adorable picture of herself and her new boyfriend enjoying Halloween together.
In addition to Zooey and Jonathan, they were also joined by Drew and his wife Linda Phan. The two couples looked to be having a fabulous time enjoying Halloween festivities together. Zooey had her arms wrapped around Jonathan’s neck as he cradled her tiny body like that of a baby.
Their social media followings were quick to address the official relationship confirmation.
On Zooey’s profile, her fans quickly gave her the stamp of approval as they gushed about how adorable the lovebirds looked together. Jonathan’s fans seemed just as happy with the relationship.
“I love you guys! So happy to see you and Zooey together,” one follower penned on Jonathan’s Instagram.
Another chimed in complementing the Property Brothers star on his new girlfriend: “Aww I love Zooey, she’s such a down to earth person.”
