Gina Kirschenheiter Of ‘RHOC’ Reveals Why She Exposed Her Ex And If Her Dating Life Will Be On The Show
Gina Kirschenheiter lost sleep over letting the world know Matt Kirschenheiter cheated on her according to Reality Blurb. The reality star said the reason she talked was because Matt continued to date the woman he cheated on her with.
Right before a house party for Tamra Judge she found a card sent to him. It was from the other woman and just brought the emotion of the affair back to the surface. Now she feels like it was the right thing to do because it weighed so heavily on her. Gina said she knew she wouldn’t be able to fake it through the whole season.
At the time, it was a very difficult decision. Also difficult was the domestic violence charges that were placed on Matthew after the two separated. He allegedly choked Gina and threatened to kill her. Despite all this she wants people to know Matthew isn’t a monster and everyone makes mistakes.

Gina Kirschenheiter Was Done Protecting Matthew
Gina Kirschenheiter said she went through a lot of emotions. She said, “I was like, you know what, I can do a lot of stuff, I can protect you as much as I can, but I will not be asked, ‘Oh, is Matt dating someone?’ and say, ‘Oh, he has a lovely new girlfriend!’ I’m not gonna do it, this is where I draw the line.”
She said she felt like she was protecting her kids but keeping his secret. Eventually she decided if it was happening, you can’t protect them from that. She said keeping the secrets broke her and she had to get them out. Gina said she could feel herself sinking and she wouldn’t be able to make it through the season.
Now The RHOC Star Is Happy With Her New Man
The interviewer asked Gina Kirschenheiter about her post with new man Travis from Instagram. She joked and said, “oh did you see that?” Gina went on to say she was really happy right now and on the other side of the bad. She hopes it keeps going.
When asked if her dating life would be on the show she said some of it would. She said dating doesn’t always pan out for her. “I get up to bat but I don’t always hit the ball,” she said. Fans look forward to seeing her dating and happy. They also will hope to catch a glimpse of Travis on the show.
