‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Rumors: Show May Be Canceled After Indictments For Alleged Tax Evasion
Chrisley Knows Best portrays the lives of Todd Chrisley and his family. The wealthy father managed to show the funny side of keeping control of the kids and his mom. Premiering through USA Network in 2014, the popular show still has many fans. However, after mainstream media reported that Todd and his wife Julie face multiple charges of alleged federal tax evasion and bank fraud, rumors arose that Chrisley Knows Best may face cancellation.
Chrisley Knows Best might be canceled
The rumors of cancellation of the show, and possibly, the spinoff Growing Up Chrisley arose when Radar Online looked into it. According to them, an insider source revealed network execs have “decided to distance themselves as much as possible” from Todd, 50, and Julie, 46, as well as their children Savannah, Chase, and Grayson. The source also alleges that Todd’s show’s become a “liability” for them.
The source goes on to suggest that the network won’t be able to film while “in prison,” anyway. Well, it would not be unusual for that to take place. Fans of Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart know that Lori Loughlin, not yet found guilty in any court, got fired almost immediately. So, it’s not beyond impossible that the USA network may think along these lines with Chrisley Knows Best.
Todd Chrisley told followers about the indictments ahead of them going public
Todd Chrisley’s not hiding in a closet. Actually, he told his followers on Instagram about it ahead of the indictment going public. In a very lengthy post, he noted their innocence, according to a report by The Daily Mail UK. The case sounds quite complicated and involves lawsuits from years back. However, Todd maintains that a disgruntled ex-employee’s been pushing the faked story of fraudulent bank transactions.
Over on Todd’s IG fans of Chrisley Knows Best, Todd and Julie flock to support him. In his post, Todd said, “I’ve never talked about this publically before but there’s been a cloud hanging over Julie and me and the entire family for the past seven years.” He adds a lot of things, but the gist is that a “trusted employee” had been stealing from them. In fact, he adds, “he even illegally bugged our home.” The Chrisley’s fired him and “took him to court.” That’s why these new allegations arose against the family.

Maintaining innocence, Todds not scared to reveal as much as he can
Through his open letter, Todd dished as much as he’s able without compromising his case. Anyway, the end of the day will see them appear in court. Todd explains that he believed the case was over after it was thrown out. But, now he claims the “former employee “persuaded a different set of” U.S. Attorney’s Office investigators to reopen the case,” People noted.
While Todd maintains his innocence in this, where he’s the victim, no doubt the mainstream media will be all over it. Even since the news broke, fans of the couple and their family offer lots of support to them on Instagram.
