‘Teen Mom OG’: Mackenzie Standifer Edwards and Ryan Announce Baby Number 2 In Gender Reveal
Teen Mom OG‘s Mackenzie Standifer and Ryan Edwards already have children in their lives. There’s Jagger, who arrived in October last year, plus, there’s Ryan and Maci Bookout’s son, Bentley. Additionally, there’s Hudson, Mackenzie’s son from a previous relationship. Now, the bunch of kids will get a new sibling. The couple announced baby number two and they revealed the gender.
Teen Mom OG couple announced their second baby on Instagram
On her Instagram, Mackenzie shared a photo of her sonogram. Mackenzie wrote, “Baby Girl Edwards is coming in January! 🎀.” That’s great news for the couple. The comments of the post were disabled, which is good thinking by the Edwards. People and tabloids still troll on Ryan a lot because of his drug addiction problems.
Back in April, TV Shows Ace reported that Ryan Edwards “went back to jail after his arrest in January for allegedly not paying a bar bill. Later, the charges got dropped, but he remained in jail anyway. Getting out in April, fans who know his addiction problems wondered how well things were going.” However, the Teen Mom OG star looked healthy and happy in a photo she shared.

Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer seem to love the kids
On their Instagram accounts, Ryan and Mackenzie often share photos of them out and about with kids. The children are often outdoors, rather than cooped up inside on video games. From biking to hiking, the kids feature. And, Ryan looks like he’s turned it around with his clear eyes and a big smile. He’ll hopefully keep on the straight and narrow healthier option now he’s gonna be a dad again.
This time around, the Teen Mom OG family welcome a little girl. That’s a sure way to inject a lot of love into a family of boys. This little one could end up loving the outdoors as well. Hopefully, fans will see her grow up for at least some of the time. We noted back in April that Mackenzie would like to stop filming sometime. “However, Mackenzie said in an IG Q&A that basically, they can’t escape their MTV contract too easily.”

Gender reveal a surprise for fans
As the couple only has their last baby eight months back, the second child came as a bit of a surprise. However, Ryan, who voluntarily stayed in jail to escape the cycle of probation restrictions got out in April. January’s nine months after that. It looks like the new baby could be a celebration of the fact that Ryan’s getting it all together.
