‘Body Parts’: TLC Airs Must See Three-Part Limited Series

Body Parts finally wraps up tonight after an exciting limited run on TLC
Body Parts follows anaplastologist Allison Vest and her quest to make top-notch prosthetics for patients who need them. Every day, Dr. Vest meets people who are missing hands, ears, and more. They don’t know where else to turn, so they go to her. And Dr. Vest never backs down from a challenge, no matter how difficult the case might be.
But what exactly can we expect from the finale tonight?
“Don’t miss the magic of #BodyPartsTLC. ❤️ The three part limited series concludes TONIGHT at 10/9!” the official TLC Instagram account captioned the most recent trailer for the show.
“When someone looks different it can really have an impact on them,” Dr. Vest says in the trailer. “If you’re missing a body part, I can make a new one for you so real that people won’t notice.”
And that’s definitely true. In each episode of Body Parts, we’ve seen the anaplastologist create new prosthetics for her patients that are very convincing. In one episode, she even made a brand new set of hands for her patient. Audience members agreed that they looked very real.

Dr. Vest helps a little boy who lost his ears in a dog attack
This week, we’re going to see Dr. Vest help a little boy who lost his ears in a vicious dog attack. Easton is eight years old today, but the loss of his ears still really haunts him.
“I don’t remember much,” Easton says about the attack in the episode teaser. He says he came home from school and went to play with the family dog when the attack happened. “I was just laying there. I couldn’t move.”
We’ve seen Dr. Vest come up with new ears for patients before. Fans hope she will be able to help Easton out too.
