‘Body Parts’: 8-Year-Old Boy Loses Both Ears In Vicious Dog Attack
Body Parts is one of the newest TLC medical shows and is quickly drawing in interest. The show follows anaplastologist Allison Vest as she builds prosthetic body parts for her patients. In previous episodes, we’ve seen Dr. Vest accomplish unthinkable tasks. She even built one patient a set of brand new hands.
But in this week’s episode, Body Parts will feature one little boy who survived a terrible dog attack. Keep reading to see how Dr. Vest can help.
Body Parts will help one little boy get new ears this week
Body Parts features patients who suffered the loss of their limbs in various ways. Unfortunately, it’s not at all uncommon for Dr. Vest to meet patients that suffered through a terrible tragedy. Eight-year-old Easton is among them.
“Easton lost both ears in a terrifying dog attack. Now his mom hopes a set of prosthetics will help him get his confidence back! See it tomorrow at 10/9c on the conclusion of #BodyPartsTLC,” the official TLC Instagram page captioned a clip from the upcoming episode.
“I don’t remember much,” Easton recalls in the video. He says he got back from school and he was playing with the dog and it started biting him. “I was just laying there. I couldn’t move.”
His mother tearfully remembers in the video. She went on to say that there is no damage to Easton’s hearing, but he lost both his ears in the attack. Today, Easton says that other children don’t really bully him. But the other kids never really know what to say to him and it still makes him feel different.
Now, it’s up to Dr. Vest to help Easton however she can. We’ve seen her create ears for other patients in previous episodes, so this won’t be entirely new. However, it may be more difficult to craft ears that will fit a child.

What else can Dr. Vest do for her patients?
If you’ve seen previous Body Parts episodes, then you’ve seen Dr. Vest accomplish virtually impossible things. Last week, viewers watched her help a patient who lost half of his face in a car accident.
As Dr. Vest pointed out the in episode, that was one of her most extreme cases. She wasn’t able to make the damage completely go away, but she did come up with a pretty convincing eyebrow prosthesis for him.
