Sofia Richie jet-setted to celebrate her 22nd birthday. The model was without her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick. But he’s been keeping himself busy lately. The Flip It Like Disick star has already been traveling around the country with his ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian. Meanwhile, Sofia used her father’s private jet to celebrate her big day.
She made it clear that Scott Disick wasn’t around. Lionel Richie’s daughter shared several photos and videos of her all-girl squad partying on the private jet. The crew headed to a special location to celebrate her birthday. Sofia also made it clear that she’s having a great day without the reality star.
Sofia Richie celebrates her birthday as a single woman
As TV Shows Ace reported, Sofia Richie and Scott Disick split for a second and final time. The obvious age-gap in their relationship was the cause for their split. They also couldn’t see eye-to-eye on their lifestyles. Scott, who briefly left rehab in April, wanted to shift the focus on his family. This summer, Sofia plans to spend more time with her friends.
She may be getting older, but she doesn’t want to be tied down. As per The Blast, Sofia took to Instagram to share a group photo on her family’s private jet.
“22 feels good,” she captioned the photo.

Her squad celebrated with champagne and danced to some of their favorite songs. It looks like Sofia’s birthday trip was off to the right start. Some of her followers even tagged Scott’s name some of her Instagram posts. They asked him, “where you at?” knowing that he would receive the comments.
But it’s unclear where the group was headed. Sofia shared some more photos of herself having a lavish dinner and soaking up the sun. For her safety and privacy, she didn’t tag the location in any of her Instagram posts. Instead, she shared the festivities from the top-secret location.
In some of the photos, Sofia and her crew wore customized T-shirts and shorts that feature the phrase, “Sofia Turns 22.” This is a departure from the low-key birthday celebration she originally planned from her friends. Sofia used her social media to ensure that Scott saw she was having a good time without him. Reports claimed that she didn’t like seeing him openly flirt with his ex on Instagram.
Kylie Jenner also skipped out on the trip
Followers noticed that Kylie Jenner didn’t join Sofia Richie on her birthday trip. It’s unclear why since Sofia still considers Kylie to be a close friend. Sofia’s split from Scott shouldn’t affect them. But Sofia’s mom did join the trip at one point. She filmed her mom dancing along to the music playing in the background.

Instead of Kylie herself, Sofia celebrated her birthday with some of Kylie’s close friends, according to Yahoo! Entertainment. Some of those tagged in her posts included Anastasia “Stassie” Karanikolaou, Amber Asaly, Francesca Aiello, and Victoria Villarroel.
While most of Kylie’s BFFs attended Sofia’s trip, it’s unknown whether the reality star will take part in any party plans later this week. While Sofia turns 22 years old on Monday, August 24, she plans to ring in her birthday all week long.
