‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Lala Kent Just Defended Kylie Jenner

Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent is showing her support for Kylie Jenner. She defended the KUWTK star after designer Michael Costello publicly trashed her. The famed fashion designer slammed the 23-year-old on her birthday.

Lala clapped back at the Project Runway designer. She claims that he ignored her when she asked him to design her wedding gown. He told Lala that she wasn’t a “big enough” star for him to wear his dresses.

Lala Kent decided to show some support for the younger Jenner sister. One day ago, Michael called out Kylie for not tagging him in her latest Instagram post.

Lala Kent calls out fashion designer Michael Costello

The Vanderpump Rules star has some choice words for the fashion designer. It all started when Kylie Jenner shared several snapshots from her 23rd birthday party. She showed a photo of herself modeling her colorful birthday dress. But the designer wasn’t happy. Michael left a comment on Kylie’s Instagram account, accusing her of consistently not tagging the designers who make her outfits.

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Kylie’s followers called her out for not tagging a Black fashion designer in the previous Instagram posts of her weekend getaway. This time, instead of crediting Michael Costello, she thanked the Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing, as per The Blast.

Michael mocked the Kylie Cosmetics founder by writing, “Thank you Olivier for the perfect bday dress. And thank you to the no name designers who work tirelessly around the clock on custom looks who she won’t tag, mention or @… Unless it’s paid.”

Michael said his comment wasn’t shady, but that her glam squad always gets tagged “no matter what.” Lala Kent took to her Instagram Story to defend the model. She posted a screenshot of the designer’s comment.

“I trolled Kylie’s Gram and found this,” Lala wrote. “What a clown, this dude.”

She then accused him of ignoring her requests to make her a wedding gown.

Lala Kent added that she “literally blew him up to make my custom wedding dress.” But she “never heard back from him.” The Vanderpump Rules star also accused the designer of ignoring her messages but she’s “not big enough” and not doing “the same s***” as Kylie.

Michael took to his Instagram Stories to fire back at the Bravo celebrity. He posted a screenshot of their text message conversation.

“You made my point,” Michael wrote. “You passed on me just like Kylie Jenner passes on you. Get over it.”

“@lalakent you wanted us to dress you and we passed!” he continued. “You didn’t want to buy anything we also confirmed an appointment for you and it was a no show! Why are you complaining a whole year later? God bless.”

Lala Kent and her fiance Randall Emmett postponed their April 2020 nuptials due to the coronavirus pandemic. The couple wanted to reschedule their wedding for October 2020 but decided to hold off until next year.
