Savannah Chrisley Reveals She’s Not In A Hurry To Marry Nic Kerdiles
Savannah Chrisley doesn’t mind that her wedding is on hold. She wants to slow down her relationship with Nic Kerdiles. She made the shocking confession in a new episode of the aptly titled podcast, Chrisley Confessions.
The 22-year-old doesn’t want to rush down the aisle. She feels that everything happened so fast. Last year, fans got shocked over the news that Todd Chrisley’s daughter was engaged. Then in fall 2019, the couple said that they are “taking steps back” in their relationship. And it appears that they just want to take things slow in their relationship.
Chrisley Knows Best star reveals why she postponed her wedding
Per E! News, Thursday, June 18, Savannah Chrisley revealed on the latest episode of Chrisley Confessions the reason why she postponed her wedding. She felt that now was a good time to hold their wedding plans. Savannah and Nic made the conscious decision to focus on their relationship. The young couple felt that they were too focused on their future together.
“We made [the decision] together,” Savannah explained. “We both realized that things moved way too fast and we needed to go back to dating.”
The couple has been doing some reflecting. Savannah also revealed a piece of advice from one of her friends that has stuck with her since.

“She said, ‘When you get married, the good things in your relationship become great and the bad things in your relationship become worse,'” Savannah revealed. “And I truly sat on that and I thought about it and there was just so much that Nic and I needed to work through.”
The couple felt too much pressure from their engagement. Not only from their friends and family, but their fans as well. Everyone expected them to walk down the aisle by now. Savannah wanted to get married on May 9, which is also Todd’s birthday. But even without the coronavirus pandemic, Savannah believes that the wedding wouldn’t have happened anyway.
Todd hired a wedding event planner and had three venues in mind. During that time, Savannah’s father was “in full manager mode.” But from the moment that their wedding was postponed, he went “back into dad model.” Savannah is happy that Todd is happy with their decision. She also revealed that she and Nic are working on themselves in therapy.

Per Daily Mail, Savannah Chrisley previously revealed to E! News in October 2019 that their wedding was on hold. But they’re still plan to marry. They didn’t want to get married for the Instagram shots. They wanted to make sure they’re ready to make that next step.

Last week, the breakup rumors swirl. Savannah released a statement, revealing that they’re doing “great.” She added that they “grow each day” and that she’s happy with where they are right now.
